The service staff is extremely kind and really tries to give the guests the best time especially by being very attentive. We received excellent bruschetta on the house which was a really nice gesture.

We had two dishes - halloumi souflaki and grilled sea bass. The halloumi itself was great, but the fries that came with it still tasted raw and not really seasoned. Also the side salad was too basic and missed some highlights as it mainly was leaves.

The sea bass on the other hand was great although a bit burned but you could easily remove the burned skin. The quality was great and the potatoes it came with also were excellent. The only remarks are that the portion size was a bit too small and the plate arrangement was a bit basic.

Sitting towards the end of the kalamki main road and being one of the few restaurants where all the tables are situated inside, the feeling at Dafni's is that of a tranquil, charming restaurant, a nice contrast to the more vivacious places situated along the main road. The menu is comparatively small to the other restaurants, but this is a good sign as all the food is usually prepared fresh. I had gemista (stuffed tomato and pepper) which came with roasted potatoes and salad, the rice filling was really tasty, the same can be said of the roast potatoes, which are softer in comparison to the traditional British roast potato, but delicious nonetheless. Visited Dafni's after seeing positive reviews online and it didn't disappoint.

We got a large carafe of red wine which cost just over 10 euros and was delicious.

There was a complimentary bruscetta given to each of us whilst waiting for our mains which were amazing and a lovely personal touch.

We ordered the moussaka and pork ribs. My partner said the moussaka was the best she'd ever had (she's had a lot) and the rack of ribs were incredible. Tender, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented.

The staff were really friendly, attentive and passionate about their restaurant.
