A local man recommended Ethnic and I cannot be more grateful. While the area feels a bit touristy, this spot is truly a GEM!
Food: a meat forward restaurant for sure. We dined late and they were out of almost everything on their spit, which I love, because they only portion a few of these delicacies a day. Get there early or be lucky! My partner and friend tried the chicken with lamb mix and I don’t think anything was left on their plate at the end. They said it was delicious! I had a steak, because, well, it’s a steakhouse. The steak did not disappoint. I also feel like the food options here were diverse from what you typically see on menus.
Drinks: I love love love Mamos beer and they of course had it. We had sparkling water and apéritifs as well
Service: out of this world. I’d give 10 stars if I could. The staff were all friendly and perfectly attentive. Jack and his mother gave us all great recommendations and made us feel so included in Greek and Aussie traditions. I loved every second of this meal.
Atmosphere: charming and comfortable. I loved the outdoor seating and lighting. We parked nearby and the...

Either make a reservation or get there early as Ethnic gets full fast and once you've eaten there you will understand why! Don't come here looking for 100% traditional Greek food as that's not it- I'd say Greek with an awesome twist. Gina, family and staff male the place what it is and they are super attentive and nothing is too much.
Food - They offer a great selection including traditional Greek such as souvlaki but the special stuff is off the spit! On our visits we had Souvlaki, Pork Ribs, Rack of Lamb and Stuffed pork and we walked back to the hotel all three nights like stuffed little pigs ourselves.
Price is more than reasonable for what was on offer I think the most expensive thing we ordered was the rack of lamb from the spit which came with proper chips and a salad and that was €18. Please please try ethnic you won't be disappointed!! All the best to Gina and the family! Hopefully see you next year but this time with a...

We arrived on a Wednesday around 19:00. There weren’t many people at this point so we got a table straight away. The service as fast and added a lot to the experience (asking questions, making jokes, etc.). When we left the restaurant at 20:30 there was a line outside with about ten people in line. So my advice, be there a little early or you will be waiting.
Then the food. As a starter we both had a small pita filled with delicious kebab. After that I recommend you go for anything from the spit. We had the ribs and the stuffed pork belly. Amazing, especially the stuffed pork belly. It will not let you down if you are a meat lover.
The baklava in the picture was homemade in comparison to a lot of other places we went to in town. Not a surprise anymore but it tasted great as well.
Go there. Don’t...
