Meraki Traditional Cuisine — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

The view is wonderful, the food is very nice, the building is good but the serving staff are terrible, waited 20 minutes after sitting down to be asked what I wanted to drink, waited another 20 to receive a glass of wine in the hope I would like it and buy a bottle asked for another (never got served) the food was well cooked - but all that is lost when the service is bad - add to that the four feral cats begging at your table where the serving staff also...

This was our third visit because of the proximity to our hotel across the road and the food choice. What was annoying was the joking against us from the staff for having a pre dinner drink and half litre wine each. We are on holiday and do not need the sarcasm. This was topped when asked how the meal was and we commented that the Moussaka was not hot when served which was laughed off by the server and not the first time. Really...

ATTENZIONE LEGGERE PRIMA DI DECIDERE SE ANDARCI: La peggior esperienza tra tutti i ristoranti di zante in cui sono andato (come guida turistica, quindi conosco bene l'isola..). Vi racconto: arrivato lì insieme alla mia ragazza, chiediamo se si può pagare con la carta e ci viene detto che non ci sono problemi.. Ordiniamo una spigola e un polpo grigliati, sulla spigola niente da dire mentre il polpo era completamente bruciato, immangiabile. Dopo averglielo fatto notare, il cameriere si scusa ma non ci chiede neanche se vogliamo qualcosa d'altro. Vado alla cassa per pagare (chiamato due volte il cameriere ma faceva finta di non vederci) e mi dice che il POS non funziona, gli chiedo di fare un tentativo e sul POS compare la scritta CABLE UNPLUGGED, al che conoscendo molto bene il funzionamento dei pos glielo faccio notare e inizia a trovarmi scuse assurde. Mi fa andare a 4km di distanza a prelevare. Quando torno gli ricordo che non abbiamo mangiato bene e il proprietario interviene dicendomi "OK" con il sorrisino. Nel mentre una signora greca si lamentava per gli stessi motivi. Quindi: servizio voto 0, cucina voto 2, antipatia voto 10.
