Amazing restaurant, probably our favourite on the whole island!! Every dish we tried was perfect! A must visit for lunch/ dinner or even just a perfectly cold beer. ——————- The ATMOSPHERE is cozy and relaxed, the restaurant has a lot of charm and there are many options to sit outside and inside. The beautiful old trees give some much needed shade on hot days.
The OWNER is such a friendly guy, always in the best mood and up for a chat, but he will also let you eat in peace if you want an undisturbed dinner. The SERVICE is great, really fast and good recommendations/clarifications of meals if you are unsure what to order. You even get some free dessert (at least if you order enough I suppose).
The FOOD is soooo good!!! We had the brusketa as a starter, good bread, perfectly ripe tomatoes, fresh virgin olive oil and some spices to perfect it. The SEA BASS was grilled to perfection, you have to try it! The second time we had cheese ham pies and aubergine dip with pita as starters, and then sea bass / the GRILLED CALAMARI, which was the best one I have ever tasted in my life. Highly...

We walked into this so-called “restaurant” (a tavern that acts like it’s doing you a favor by letting you sit) intending to order drinks, and possibly food later. We sat at an empty table, and what followed was absolutely unacceptable.
One of the staff members (maybe even the owner, which makes it worse) approached us with a rude and aggressive attitude, questioning what we wanted and then literally scolding us for not ordering food. Exact words: “This is a tavern, not a bar. If you’re not eating, leave”
Not only is it completely disrespectful to speak to paying customers like that, but it’s also laughable to behave as if they’re doing us a favor. The atmosphere was hostile, the service was nonexistent, and hospitality clearly isn’t in their vocabulary.
We left immediately without ordering anything. There are dozens of other restaurants in the area where the staff actually knows how to treat people with basic decency. Choose any of those instead and avoid this rude, unwelcoming place...
Read moreWe recently visited this tavern hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the staff didn’t seem happy to see us. The waiters looked tired and irritated, as if they were fed up with having to deal with customers at all. What bothered us most was the attitude we received when we ordered only drinks. One of the staff members made it clear — in a rather unfriendly manner — that we were taking up a table without ordering food, implying that we weren’t welcome unless we spent more. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and instead of enjoying our time, we felt like a burden. We understand that tables are valuable, especially in busy places, although there were at least 6 available tables, but there are ways to communicate this politely. Sadly, the atmosphere here was anything but welcoming, and we won’t...
