So at the beginning we asked for a table for 2 people and the waitress (italian daughter i guess) chose for us the table outside the garden, next to the front door and told us there is no other free place (we really hoped to get a table at the garden because of the pleasant atmosphere). We got this “excluded” table in the corner which was totally worse than the rest of places so I tried once again and asked the other woman why can’t we get a place in the garden if I can see plenty of free tables right there and she started to lie in front of my face that she just asked me which of the table I would prefer and that I chose the worse one(???) Suddenly, there was no problem with taking a place in the garden (after few attempts). During our waiting for the meal we didn’t even get the plates or some tissues(at the restaurant, really?). But the best of the best was the moment when the italian chief (probably the owner of the restaurant) brought us our pizza and with ironic smile on his face asked if we are satisfied with our table and practically REPROACHED us for ordering “ONLY pizza and fanta” and taking a place for 4 people. And when I asked him why other couples(that came before and after us) got a places for 4 people in the garden right away I didn’t even get an answer. I have never been treated that rude at the restaurant so I DO NOT RECOMMEND! +pizza was fine but not...

If you’re looking for a true Italian dinner in Zakynthos, this is the place! I would recommend this restaurant for families and couples because of the niiice atmosphere you get sitting outside in the courtyard (which btw tends to be divided in smoker and non-smokers)
Being Italian myself I guarantee on the origin of the ingredients and the cooking style to be original. The restaurant also have homemade meals, interesting daily specials and you’ll be offered a glass of prosecco. Cheers to that!
I believe prices are very fair considering the quality of the food (which often is imported right from Italy), the good size of the portions and for being served traditional Italian recipes in another country.
There’s enough car park just behind the venue.
Final tip: bread is extra, but you’re gonna love the Focaccia. Next time I’m gonna try Pizza cause the look and the smell of the ones I saw were...
Read moreWe attempted to dine at Camillo's on one evening after stumbling upon this charming little restaurant. Regrettably, it was fully booked due to its limited seating capacity. A kind lady from Bergamo handed us the restaurant's business card and suggested making a reservation in advance, given its popularity. A few days later, with our reservation secured, my friends and I had an outstanding experience at Da Camillo's. We were yearning for authentic Italian cuisine, and Camillo's certainly delivered. This family-run restaurant exuded a delightful atmosphere and a cozy vibe. We started with the Tagliere, featuring an assortment of cold cuts, cheeses, and homemade focaccia and bread – a truly delicious choice. For our main courses, we requested the Amatriciana without bacon to accommodate my vegetarian sister, and they happily made the adjustment. Finally, we couldn't resist trying their tiramisu, and it was...
