La Estancia — Restaurant in Guatemala City

My first and last visit to this restaurant. The food was good, but despite supposed security cameras and armed security, my car was broken into and some of my personal items were taken. When I reported the theft to the restaurant's manager, she told me that despite the security cameras that I had parked in a blind spot and there was no video footage to give me. There were two security guards and neither one of them saw anything. In the end the restaurant manager began arguing with me about the incident and told me in a very dismissive manner that theft in the parking lot of the restaurant is very common, as if to say, tough luck. After our doctor appointment we got hungry. Father in law took us to this restaurant. The location of the restaurant is very convenient. Clean restrooms. They have a lot of parking space with armed security which is needed in the city. We were greeted and seated right away by the manager. We got the menu and a chicken broth served unexpectedly in a mug. Their menu is precise and descriptive. Don’t worry about the prices because is worth it. Took about 20 minutes to get served. Great service and food. Too 👎 bad we had to buy the tortillas and bread, especially with the price of food. In all restaurants they provide bread an tortillas. Good the placemats are made of leather, of course it's a 🍖 meat place. Awful idea the containers and baskets are plastic!!!!😞👎 Would be 👍 great if you can change...
