Le Cafe - Etu Plaza — Restaurant in Guatemala City

I’ve never experienced such bad service in my life. I travel a lot throughout the world and the poor service at LeCafe was the worst ever. I ordered a sandwich (basic order) and twice in one sitting I had to return the food because the waiter took the orders incorrectly. They have a bunch of young punks working there that don’t care about their jobs or customer service. On top of that ; the manager Gabriel was extremely rude when I expressed my complaints to him. These people are an absolute disgrace to the restaurant industry and shouldn’t be employed. I assume the hiring standards are very low and they hire any clown off the streets. Amazing. I went there a couple few times and I do have to say the service was great, the atmosphere and patio and their flexibility in terms of opening and closing time on holidays. The reason why I rated 4 out of 5 is Because their pastry choice is very limited for example, they didn't have brownies or chocolate cake and a big cafe like that should provide the biggest selection of pastry. The choice of milk was also limited as well, and the cafe latte could taste better as well. Overall good, i would definitely return back and enjoy! Just wish they could improve their cafe lattes and more fresh...

I'll be honest, I was a bit skeptical before going due to disdaining experiences with fancy names in fancy buildings, nonetheless, we went as a group of 10 and we ALL enjoyed the food; we were all talking about how great our food was and tasting each other's food lol. The place is very comfortable, excellent view, the service was quick and attentive, and nothing better than unlimited great Guatemalan coffee to go with a great breakfast meal!!
