Tamarindos Bistró — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Service was definitely unbeatable! My server was so kind, nice and helpful.

Appetizers were awesome in temperature, flavor, and cook, we start very good, until I ordered a glass of wine (I usually order bottles but i was not able to drink many wine this time); a Malbec which comes literally cold, with the glass sweating, literally like a beer temperature: my expectations went down at that moment, I didn't wanted to say nothing, because if you dare to serve a wine with that temperature is a lack of knowledge and experience, but i was expecting much better, with that beautiful environment and such a tasty appetizer.

I ordered a beef skirt (entraña) for myself, it was not very fresh as I was expecting, and the cut was very average.

This has been for many years one of my favorite restaurants. Love the the place and ambiance. Is comfortable, beautiful with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect to go for lunch with friends and family. Food is really good, they have dishes for every taste, so you can always alternate. The only reason why I’m giving the place 4 stars is because even though the food is good, is not extraordinary, and you would expect it to be for the kind of high end place...

One of the best culinary experiences in Guatemala City. The food was excellent. The service was amazing and the music and deco were so nice. I would say without a shadow of a doubt that once in Guatemala City you should not miss this one. Top mark in my global list of restaurants value for money!!
