Go Bao / Agrochina Express — Restaurant in Guatemala City

Stumbled across this place and so glad we did! Yummy bao buns for a little snack or lunch, tasty teas and the mochi is the best I’ve had in Guatemala so far! Many unique groceries and a few snacks as well. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Keep in mind, they do have a random selection of baos ready, so be prepared for a sample platter or be okay with waiting several minutes if you have a specific order. They offer meat, vegan and sweet baos. There isn’t a ton of seating, so not conducive...

I was quite disappointed about this place, it might be the best in Guatemala but far from the real deal. The buns were small, the dough was dry and there is not a lot of filling but he flavor is good. The paper at the bottom was really stuck to the bun so the whole bottom stayed there. The baskets are just for display, the buns are not actually cooked in them. It took them over 20min to deliver 5 out of 6 buns.
