San Martín • Peri-Roosevelt — Restaurant in Guatemala City

I am a huge San Martin fan. The first time I came to this San Martin in Peri, I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere very much. I came back twice more after that and both of those times the experience was less pleasant. Although the food is as always delicious, the issue I had was with the staff members.. they took a long time to come to the table to take our order or to check on if we need refills for our coffees or anything else (which they always do at San Martin) We tried to get their attention several times but felt quite ignored as they just passed by.. the bill however came very quickly as it was time for us to leave… 😬 I wouldn’t recommend coming to this particular San Martin if you want to really enjoy this restaurant with your friends or family. The food can be tasty, BUT! If you have the patience to wait, and wait.... and think that you'll get the order wright on the first try you're wrong!. The waitres repeating the order doesn't make any difference when they bring the food they bring what they think you'll want but it's not what you ordered! I have experienced it in a few of these restaurants. Ah! And watch your bill... They will charge for items that you didn't order.. And! There's no accountability at all!
