Love this place! One of our favourite restaurants in Central America! We ordered the vegetarian lasagne and oriental eggplant soy veggie dish, two nights in a row, and we would have ordered a third night if we could! They have a menu of the day with 3 different vegetarian options, they definitely offer meat options but not sure how many or what they are. The meals had so many vegetables in them which seems quite rare in Central America, and the flavours were delicious! In our experiences, it's been hard to find a restaurant that sells meat dishes and also knows how to make really good vegetarian food. Both meals came with a side salad and a choice of garlic bread or tortillas. We ordered naranjada and jugo del dia, they were really tasty.
It only cost 190q for 2 meals, 2 large fresh drinks, side salad and sides of garlic bread.
This is a family owned restaurant and they are such lovely, sweet people. Definitely go and support...
Read moreAn excellent environment, but there are several aspects to improve.
Positive: Excellent lighting and ornament details It is located in a very central location - Ample parking Good customer service Enough hygiene in all its areas (bathroom, kitchen, bar)
*Negative: They do not have a menu for food/drinks (they kindly tell you what to prepare but it is almost impossible for you to keep the food together with the garnishes that they bring) They do not have a variety of rest areas. (They only have two hammocks and these are in a place far away from the tables that are to eat) They do not have a service of drinks or prepared drinks. (There are no natural fruit smoothies, margaritas, or any other type of prepared drink) It could be said that the price is not commensurate with the size of the food plate; there is no...
Read moreThis place is a must visit if you are in Lanquín. Honestly, it is probably the best restaurant in town as there aren't many options to choose from. The people running the restaurant are the nicest I have ever met. The lady that took my order explained everything in detail and with a lot of patience. She also gave me recommendations for my visit to Semuc Champey. The food was phenomenal. They specialize in grilled meats. I had the grilled lomito with 3 sides and the most delicious homemade tortillas. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the potatoes and veggies were very tasty. I found this place thanks to a Google review and I liked it so much I went there twice. The second time I had their choripan with French fries. Delicious all around. Oh, and to top things off, their jugo de Jamaica (hibiscus flower juice) was...
