All around an amazing experience! Very kind servers for first-timers and delicious cuisine. My partner and I had both the vegetarian (4) and chicken (4) samosas (I think the vegetarian ones were better due to keeping moisture a bit better). We got only 1 entrée the Tikka Masala (pictured half the plate) it was enough to fill the both of us and it was very well presented with really balanced flavors. We drank a mango Lassi which they said was a Indian specialty and it is definitely a different combo of flavors than we were used to but very very refreshing.

Two years ago I was here as well and had a good experience, so I went here again on the first night of this trip. Certainly good food, but the chicken had a lot of bones (which is usual here in Guatemala; in Europe we would get filet, and for the price (Q80) it could probably have been filet) and it was a bit too dry. Also, I doubt whether this is served in original Indian style. Still it is good food. Relatively expensive compared to other Xela food, cheap compared to Coidad Guatemala. On the photo the Chicken Tandoori.

An amazing restaurant in Xhela town, the 2md largest city in Guatemala. I stumbled on this restaurant totally out of the blue, did not expect to find an Indian restaurant in this town but what a pleasant surprise. The food was amazing that I came back to eat my meals. Very authentic and home cooked food. Prices are very reasonable for sit down international restaurants in Guatemala. I met the Chef Owner who is from South of India and a long resident of Xhela. Please give this restaurant a visit while here.

My family and I have eaten here 4 times during our visit to xela and we can’t recommend it enough. The flavors are authentic, have some spice to them, and everything is freshly prepared. The tandoori chicken is spicy and perfectly cooked, the samosas are well seasoned, and the potatoes that come with the combo plates make a great side for those not into too much spice. I especially love the chai tea with milk - fresh ginger and spices are used and it’s freshly made just for you! Honestly, it’s the best chai tea I’ve ever had! Since everything is made fresh, don’t expect to rush your meal though - just know it’s going to be delicious and we’ll...
