Great location. This Jumbo seafood Gallery restaurant is located in Riverside walk building. If you get there by mrt, alight at Clark Quay mrt station, exit E, face toward to the river bank and turn right, walk underpass and it right at the end of the underpass. Dont take wrong place cos there is another Jumbo restaurant on the opposite way (it means you turns left when your face toward to the river).

If you get there by cab, they will stop at the drop off point. You can follow the building map instruction to find the restaurant. Or just simple walk along the pavement toward the river, the restaurant is rite beside the river bank.

I myself prefer dining outdoor than indoor, can feel the breeze and the night scene is romantic. However if you r a big group (more than 4 pax), definitely only indoor table is available.

Delicious food. Must try pepper crab, chili crab, scallop, homemade braised tofu. If you are on budget, maybe shouldnt try the crab, cos it can cost ard 70-90SGD per crab. And 1 crab is quite big, fit for 2 adults. A small notice for people who has first time dining in a Chinese style seafood restaurant: the small square bow w brown water which is set up on table is for cleaning hand after eating seafood. IT'S NOT FOR DRINKING.

Super nice and friendly staff. Table service is really good. For big group ( more than 4 pax), I suggest you should make an reservation online 2-3 days before you come. Cos this restaurant is well-known, so it's normally full booked 1 day before the date you choose. For walk-in cuntomer, waiting time for 1-2 pax is just in minutes, for 3-4 pax or more can up to 40 minutes.

THE ONLY THING I HATE THERE They restrict the dining time for each table. It means you will have only 90 minutes for your dining experience there. After 90 minutes, if there r waiting customers, definitely you r out. If you choose to have an early dinner (ard 6pm-7pm), normally no waiting time, however I recommend you finish your dining time by the time the waitress wrote on your...

Jumbo Seafood was not part of our plan initially because we wanted to try Hai Di Lao Hotpot in Somerset 313, but the waiting list was taking forever. Colin suggested to eat seafood instead and drove us to The Riverwalk. We arrived in front of Jumbo Seafood Gallery, a Chinese restaurant overlooking the river.

We were famished as it was way past dinner time and we spent a lot of energy walking at Gardens by The Bay earlier. I'll let Colin order as he's a regular at this restaurant.

◾ Crispy fried baby squid - deep fried until crispy and crunchy before being tossed in sweet & savoury oyster sauce blend, and then sprinkled with sesame seeds. Perfect appetisers. ◾ Donut fritters with seafood paste - the fritters are stuffed with cuttlefish paste and coated with fragrant sesame seeds before deep fried to golden crisp texture. Served with sweet peanut shrimp sauce, even the kids fought to eat the last piece with us. ◾ Crispy fried seafood beancurd - this is Colin's favourite and rightly so... The softness of the beancurd coupled with the texture of seafood took this dish to another level. I found joy eating this ◾ Signature black pepper crab - instead of going for the chilly crab, we opted for this and there was no regret at all. The crab was coated entirely with the fragrant black pepper sauce which was not overpowering the sweetness of the crab flesh itself. ◾ Hong Kong style noodle with seafood - it was very easy to satisfy the daughters as noodle would definitely work wonders! Fresh seafood with the eggy sauce coating the crispy noodle.

Maybe we were too hungry earlier so everything tasted heavenly. But according to Colin, this place is one of the to-go restaurants for amazing seafood dishes, particularly crab - think the famous Chilly Crab made popular by...

We had a short stop in Singapore so we decided to go for the famous Jumbo chilli crabs that we had heard so much about.

When we reached the restaurant, it was around 4:30pm. We were informed that they would open at 5:00pm. In the meantime, we were given a reservation for 5-6:15 pm. There was already a huge crowd with reservations, waiting for the restaurant to open. There were cookies and infused water available for guests to make the hot and humid wait more comfortable which was cool! At 5:00pm we were promptly attended to by a server who seated us at our table. The spacious restaurant with both outdoor and indoor seating option was full within the first 15 minutes. We selected their signature dish-the famous Chilli Crabs. We also ordered some fried rice, broccoli and some drinks. They gave us: -a set of tools including a crab cracker -finger bowl -complimentary peanuts with sauce on the side -a crab bib

Within no time our food was ready and we were excited to indulge. The pepper crab was a huge dish with a lot of gravy. The vibrant color was amazing and even better was the aroma. Without delay we dug into the yummiest pepper crabs we had tried so far. Fresh, flavorful and delicious-we enjoyed every bit of it. After a while I got a little impatient with the tools so decided to use my hands. We were offered wet towels throughout the meal which was perfect to clean the unavoidable. Disposable gloves would have been helpful but I thought of it only after we had finished!

The other stuff we ordered was good too, but the pepper crab was definitely the best! Although the price range was slightly on the expensive side, it was worth it for a transit stop. We cannot wait to visit their restaurant again on our...

Very busy place. Had booked a table for 8 on a Sunday. Almost other places were booked out or too far from city. We wanted to try the chilli crab and ordered 2 , about 800gms each priced at $80kg, spicy cod, drunken prawns, kai lang, scallops and fried rice. All the dishes came out at different times and it made the dinner a bit different. Mainly the fried rice, which came out near the end of the night when I would have thought it'd been ideal to come out with the kai lang, cod and crab. The chilli crab portion looked very small as it came out in one dish. It was just enough to feed the 8 of us but could have done with 1 more on top. The flavour is somewhat spicy and wasn't anything spectacular. The buns did a good job at soaking up the sauce though! The drunken prawns has an earthy taste to the soup(herbal taste) and the prawns were done just right. Scallops were overpowered by the yam for my taste. The spicy cod was delicious. So good that I wished I ate that first as it disappeared quickly and when we tried to order another it was sold out. The service was attentive, tea gets poured and plates are constantly changed. Oh something to remember is that between 8 of us we shared 2 claw crackers. The hype over Singaporean chilli crab is fading. I find it a must-try-once-dish-if-ever-in-the-country but I wouldn't be back regularly to have it. There are many many other places to have this dish, some fancy and some casual like Jumbos. Give it a crack.
