Happy Lamb Hot Pot Restaurant — Restaurant in Khan Chamkar Mon

I’m a regular customer here and have been coming here for over 5 years but today will be my last visit as their staff was incredibly rude. We ordered 3 grilled lamb chops and finished the meal without receiving the order. When they brought it, they brought only one and claimed we ordered only one. Then we showed the receipt to them which showed that we paid for 3. Over 15 minutes later the manager in a black shirt came to address us and claimed they already served it to us, which we refuted and showed the proof. They then said they would bring us the remaining order in 8 minutes but after waiting another 20 minutes nothing. Then one of the servers, knowing we were waiting, silently dropped it off at one of the tables behind us without notifying us. The food is mediocre in comparison to the price. The service was severely lacking. I’m not sure if the staff is undertrained or they’re understaffed. The VIP room was not a VIP experience to say the least. There’s no call bell so the only time someone came to our table was when we ordered something. Other than that we were left alone.

It was also very disorganized. We were a big group and we ordered a lot of food. It was confusing to know what was what because the servers wouldn’t say what it was and was confused when we asked. It was disappointing to eat here.

I really didn’t enjoy my dining experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my friends or family. You’re better off eating at other hot pot restaurants around the city. Don’t bother...

My dining experience was absolutely ruined by the smell of cigarette smoke. While the food was alright and there are varieties of different things we can choose from the menu, there’s no “non-smoking” policy. Especially in an ENCLOSED SPACE like this, how could I enjoy my food while trying not to inhale the horrid smoke coming from other participants in the restaurant that have no regards for other customers trying to eat their food. It’s understandable that this restaurant is within a Chinese-packed area but how can you withstand having cigarette smoke encompassing the whole restaurant.
