It was very nice. Good music. Good WiFi. I had chocolate milk and a hot tea. Both hit the spot. People around me we're getting food. The sandwiches look very good. I sat inside for about 45 minutes to an hour and worked with my laptop. It was very comfortable. Here's what I wrote on Trip Advisor after have a little bit of time to think about my trip. :-) : This place is a must if you are looking for coffee or a cafe in Old Town. Just go there. I was looking for a place to grab a cup of tea and sit for a little bit after a day of exploring Nice. I stumbled upon Hobo Coffee and quickly found the staff to be very friendly. There was a certain positive energy with which they treated each of their guests, tourists and locals alike. Hobo Coffee had a perfect mix of great service, great drinks and a nice light menu. By the second time I visited, they already knew my name and welcomed me back like an old friend. I travel quite a bit and it's always nice, but at times difficult, to find a place as warm and welcoming as Hobo Coffee. I was able to sit and relax for a little while in a place that is not centered around alcohol. If are lucky enough to spend time in Nice an you visit this place, I think you will not only find the service to be excellent, the cheese boards and desserts were really good too. Everyone behind the counter goes out of the way to make sure that their customers are treated well. Great job!

The BRUNCH here was absolutely unreal!! Everything was so good and fresh. My husband got the brunch plate, which came with a TON of food. The avocado toast was hands down the best we’ve ever had anywhere, and we’re from Los Angeles! The orange juice was fantastic, definitely tasted freshly squeezed. He was very impressed with the meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit salad, and pastry that also all came with the brunch! I got the yogurt parfait, and it was more food than I was expecting as well! Absolutely delicious with the honey, granola, and all the fruit. Everything was ripe and tasted so good! I also got a croissant with butter and apricot jam, which was perfection. We got a cappuccino and an iced latte, which were pretty basic but tasted great! Loved that they had oat milk as a milk option. Ambiance inside was very cozy and festive for the fall / Halloween season. Perfect for the overcast slightly rainy day mood. They also had a lovely outdoor seating area. The music choice was chill and vibey. Service was very fast and friendly. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall this was our favorite brunch spot in Nice!

Amazing brunch cafe in Nice! Super great location to enjoy a brunch or coffee as it is located on the central busy street right beside the Nice Cathedrale~ We tried their brunch which is served with creamy granola and yogurt, their specialty avocado toast + fruity peanut butter toasts. The avocado toast was my personal favourite! It had a touch of paprika spice with the avocado slices and spread. Their portions are super big and generous, so 1 order of brunch set is definitely perfect for sharing between 2 people. What I love about this cozy cafe is that you can really taste the freshness in the ingredients they use. Everything made in the house using the fresh ingredients and seasonal fruits, the daily squeezed juice, everything was perfect! As well, I love their matcha latte that’s not too sweet with a slight hint of ginger as well! Their staff are super friendly and helpful as they speak English and French. They have a cozy terrace and even vintage themed exterior seats available as well. Definitely recommend to come early if you visit on the weekends, and check their brunch when you visit Nice!

We found a little caffeine haven tucked in the heart of Nice - Hobo. This bustling café, with its high demand and constant energy, made for an ideal start to our day. My choice for breakfast was a fantastic Avocado and Grated Egg Toast. Served on sourdough bread that had the perfect balance of fluffy interior and a chewy, crunchy crust, it was a simple dish done right. The Croque Monsieur on our table was everything one could hope for, oozing with cheesy goodness. We also ordered the Full Breakfast which was a feast in itself - a generous spread of charcuterie, cheese, avocado toast, fruit, jam, and croissant. It was a meal enough for two, satisfying in every sense. Despite the quick turnover of tables, the service remained efficient and courteous. The coffee was excellent, strong and aromatic, while the fresh juices were equally commendable. If you find yourself in Nice and in need of a quality coffee, Hobo is a spot you shouldn't miss.

I recently visited Hobo Coffee and had a mixed experience. The highlight of my visit was the fruit juice, which was exceptionally refreshing and flavorful. It had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, making it a delightful choice for a hot day. However, I was less impressed with their croissants and coffee. The croissants were mediocre at best, lacking the flaky, buttery texture I expect from a quality pastry. They seemed more bread-like and were somewhat disappointing. Similarly, the coffee did not live up to expectations. It was rather bland and lacked the robust flavor and aroma that one hopes for in a good cup of coffee. It might satisfy those who prefer a milder brew, but it wasn’t quite my cup of tea. Overall, while Hobo Coffee has some strengths, particularly with its fruit juice offerings, there is room for improvement in their pastries and coffee.
