Amber's Bakery, Cafe & Bistro ÁRKÁD mall — Restaurant in Budapest

Horrible experience with the staff. The two women serving there (one young black hair, and one mid-aged blond) were terribly rude to me and my 2 friends. They were xenophobic towards us as 2 african girls and one asian, it looked like they hated taking our order and personally I was ignored twice by both waitresses. The young one was very rude telling my friends to wait when they wanted to order a drink, no smile, no please, she just pointed with her finger. my turn came and I was waiting in the line after a mother and her daughter who were being served by the mid-aged waitress, the young waitress was making a cocktail so I thought she will take my order once she finished but no, she went to the people behing me in the line smiling and asking them what they wanna order. I said mabe she did not see me waiting IN FRONT of the cashier desk exactly. The mid-aged woman finished with her customer and AGAIN ignored me and went to ask the person in the back to order until I said excuse me I want a lemonade and a cake, she served me with a very straight face as if I was an object there. I saw all other lemonades decorated with oranges and lemon, mine had only the syrup. I wrote already a review for them on the napkin and this is for any foreigner person that does not look "european" to know that you may face the same treatment if those 2 women are still working there. If I could give a -5 I would. I had never been treated with such xenophobia before during my 3 years of living in hungary until...

I’v been visiting this cafe and recommending it to everyone I know. Unfortunately on the 12th around 1pm, my wife and I saw a free table and went for it. While doing that we hear the employee shouting in a bad attitude, saying “it’s reserved” while there was nothing on the table saying it’s reserved. We understand sometimes the employees are overwhelmed with the customers and they’re just working too hard, but it’s not our fault to be treated in such way. Eddig három alkalommal voltunk itt, de a mai volt az utolsó... Az első alkalommal a zellerkrém levesről lemaradt a snidling, mikor távozáskor jeleztem, a szőke hajú szemüveges hölgy részéről az volt a válasz, hogy "- miért nem szóltam?" Mintha nekem kellene erről gondoskodnom..

Második alkalommal megkérdeztem a szakácsot, hogy ugye most van rajta snidling? Megint nem volt.... viszont tett rá utólag, ez pozitív. A kiszolgálópultnál két külföldi lány nem értette, hogy ha elkészült a kávé amit kértek, akkor majd a pultból ordibálnak nekik, de ha az étel készül el, akkor majd rezeg egy műanyag kütyü az asztalon és nekik kell hátul átvenni... A pultos lányok ezt nem tudták nekik elmagyarázni angolul (végül lefordítottam).

Harmadik alkalommal nem láttam étlapot egyik asztalon sem.. kértem egy étlapot, mire a pultnál a szőke hajú szemüveges hölgy szokásos kioktató stílusban közölte, hogy "ott a QR kód, olvassam le telefonnal..." mondtam nem szeretnék ezzel bajlódni, gondolom csak van egy nyomtatott étlap kéznél.. Válasz: "akkor keressen az asztalokon". Itt lett elegem az egész helyből és az ocsmány kioktató stílusukból.

Az ételek ízre és kinézetre jók, a kávé átlagos, viszont a kiszolgálás és a hangulat förtelmes, soha többé ide nem jövök és...
