Overcooked Sweet Potatoes/Short changed

Shame !!! Loved it first visit. WENT AGAIN and now will avoid . On the plus side ..nice location under the trees next to trams and they have bike repair stuff next to cycle lane . First visit had 2 or 3 tables occupied and everything was great. Second visit ( sunday afternoon ) burger though big was only warm inside . My wife's sweet potato chips looked like they had been reheated several times and far from healthy looking as very dark dried up and greasy looking .

End of the meal and asked for the bill Gave 20 000 HUF for a 6200 bill and waited a good 5 minutes for the change. When the waitress returned Short changed by 1000 HUF and an old 1000HUF tucked in amongst the change.

To be fair .once they were told that they short changed by 1000 HUF they did come back two minutes later with the correct amount of change .( though no apology ). . Warm food , some overcooked ,slow service..Sunday afternoon appeared to be "bring all your kids day "...so guess locals with kids would feel right at home .

If nothing said , nothing will change so telling it how it is...

Food was great, the place and the Terrasse is beautiful with big trees and greenery. At night the vibes are very good, great place to watch some sports. But the service was dreadful. We arrived and took our seats and when the server came with the Menu he didn't even greet us just put the Menus on the desk and walked away. (didn't give it directly to us but that's not the biggest deal ). After we finished the food we weren't asked if we'd like anything extra and we weren't even asked how it was, basically nothing. Im not a harsch person, but this is what happens if you don't have to do anything to get the service fee, which is +12%. For what am I paying it exactly? Either the food should cost more but no service fee (thatvway it's visible on the Menu), or the service should be something special but at least good. Now it is just hidden fee...

I'm so sorry I have no pics from Majorka. But I'm always having some nice time with friends here so I forget to photo. After a long time (post Covid) we came back to watch the Euros. They have a side with a screen for sports fans and another side for those not interested.

I was very pleased by the safety measures: staff wearing masks, they were cleaning the tables immediately after people left and in the bathrooms a cleaning lady was actively keeping things in check.

I like their cocktails and freshly squeezed juices. This time I had a burger with goat cheese, but in the past I have also tried the chicken wings, the eggplant and other burgers.

I wish the burger meat quality was better, though so they could enter the rank of my favorite...
