Pizza Paradicsom — Restaurant in Budapest

We were a group a little more than 10 people from one language school. Our Hungarian teacher recommended us this restaurant! After many trial I think I am not a big fan of Hungarian restaurant. In general I don't like how they serve(the decoration)& the way of cooking. So I was wondering why he recommended us this restaurant. For me the taste was so so. I don't recommend this restaurant for foreigners but if you are Hungarian I would recommend it. Because the portion was really big... almost one dish for two people, dessert as well. This restaurant offers the biggest portion ever. My husband is Hungarian as well:) later I delivered him two pieces of left pizza(he is a Vegetarian, just simple pizza with cheese.) and he said it is good, at least no bad. I tasted lots of food there but my favorite was... beef pizza. I choosed 4toppings what I want (I choosed beef, salmon, chicken, salami) it was delicious and orange flavor lemonade. So, we went there on a hot day during the heat wave. The prices were good. We took ice coffee (very nice), tomato soup (that was extremely tasty), kebab (good) & pizza (one of the worst ones in my life, no exaggeration!) There were some flies at our table which was a bit annoying. We liked everything from the food but the pizza - it was so thick... and the dough was kind of moist. I mean, what gives?! As a pizza lover (Italian pizza, to be precise), I don't understand how they can serve this thing... It's so bready and has such a bland taste. My bf thought some people might like this "type" of pizza, I honestly don't know how someone in their right mind can enjoy eating that. Sorry, but someone needs to give honest feedback to the chef about this. And maybe make the owner change something in the way they make pizza, or the name of the place (because there's great stuff but pizza isn't its...

I give it 4 stars, just to have a room for improvement. Nice place with wide opening hours. Middle level of pizza, but quite nice Hungarian food. If you're up to Gordon blue (cheese and meet) that would be nice place to visit. Great is that you can get a smoking table outside - rare to see in our days. Beer selection is limited, but man gets beer and pair gets cocktail sort things out. Could be very noisy during the day, so stay inside(no noise screen present). In the evening I would get table outside when traffic is not that bad. Be prepared to wait for order and call waiter if you need something. If you short in time order and pay to not waste around 15 minutes. Have fun, bring more friends and noise concerns should not be a problem, become more noise than traffic :) oh I forgot... prices... they are average and affordable(unless you're student who would take another beer instead or bla bla...
