Rednekk BBQ&BAR — Restaurant in Debreceni járás

Dear Rednekk, I'm saddened to be giving you 2 stars for one reason "your very rude female staff". Yesterday, 3rd/March/2023, I went to Rednekk for a cool afternoon meal with a friend. I usually go for just dinner at Rednekk but it was a great day to have lunch at a place I'm a regular. We went in and placed our orders (drinks and food). Although we both ordered the same drink (Mango lemonade) when the drinks arrived one had a lot of big bubbles in it while the other had no bubbles. That was the first thing we noticed and asked ourselves why both drinks were so different yet the order was the same. Mine had big bubbles and I noticed my cup looked dirty inside. I took a white tissue and swapped the top part of the glass inside and there were lots of black particles on the tissue. I had still not taken a sip of my drink due to my previous suspicions. We called the waitress a few times and she blatantly ignored us. She was wearing all black but her top had an animal black and white print on one side( the right shoulder), She had black ponytail hair. When she finally came and I told/ showed her the dirty cup, She angrily snatched the cup from my hand, mumbled and angrily walked away to the counter where they make drinks and started making another drink. When she brought the corrected drink there were still big bubbles on the top (don't know what's up with it) and I thanked her for the drink (no response from her and she angrily walks away). I've never experienced this behaviour with the male staff and I've been there a few times with friends. In all my life I've never had such an unprovoked angry service. I don't know what she was going through but she was just frowning the whole time. She didn't treat the others like she treated us though so I wonder why she treated us like that. Did I fail to mention that my fries weren't the same as I had ordered? As a regular customer, the men have always been great. Rednekk, I know the number of people I've introduced to Rednekk and they've eaten there because of me. If you want to resolve this issue with me I'll consider it. Just get in...

We’ve decided to visit this place for dinner due to the positive reviews on Google. The place itself looks good they have plenty of seats both inside and outside. As it’s cold now in November, we had a table booked inside. They have tall bar tables and chairs, not very comfortable but okay for an hour. The decor is what you’d expect from the name, the place has this typical US vibes. The issue is that the kitchen hood does not work properly so all the smell from the kitchen gets into the seating area. All of our clothes got smelly which is very unpleasant after leaving the place. The food is below average, the portions are good but the overall quality is just not satisfactory. I’ve ordered a turkey taco which didn’t have anything to do with what a taco should be, it resembles more of a panini. The taste was okayish but nothing to sing songs about. The sweet potato is from a package and it tastes a bit artificial and has a lot of oil on it. Other plates we’ve ordered were also a bit underwhelming (Camembert cheese box). The services was okay, the waiter was nice and professional. The prices would be okay but the quality you get is not aligned so it felt overpriced. Overall, it was a forgettable experience and I’m washing my jacket now to get rid of the oil smell😅. I think there are better places in Debrecen if you’d like some quality, American-type of cuisine so I wouldn’t recommend...

The first time I had lunch here in 2021 was the best brisket i had. Since then, every time I visited Debrecen i was there for the brisket. Unfortunately this time I ordered the brisket,but takeout, and i even convinced my friend that it will be the best brisket in Debrecen. Oh boy, how wrong i was. It was cold and dry as the Sahara desert in the night. It was like a boot sole. We couldn't even eat it. It is a shame. I recommend to avoid this place, i know i will.
