I studied bsc biology for one then I took admission in general medicine kn another university because university of Debrecen did not grant me admission in medicine or I couldn't get admission??? honestly, I DONT KNOW!!!! because when I was apply for medicine, they did not give me proper information they hid that part of information through which I coupd lose the chance easily I mean they DUD NOT MENTION EVEN FOR ONE TIME EVEN I USED TO VISIT THE OFFICE AND ASKED THE WHOLE PROCEDURE RELATED THINGS MANNNY TIMES!!!and even it was not only me, but alll the students couldn't get admission directly in medicine. They offered us preparatory courses isn't strangeee!!! In the beginning even they didn't mention about preparatory course they presented like " you just have to pass the test even with bare minimum and you will get admission in medicine ×all the time" I was a scholarship holder already they took 500euros fee from me when I raised the objection why you did not provide me complete information even they didn't listen there were a lot of offer letters of preparatory courses only in the office when I was having interview, they justified it by saying we make it in advance like they know this student will not get admission!!! I dont know about freshers but they treat old students like this even incase of my sister, they said offered 60prc off in first year and saud it will remain continue for whole studies I belong yo a middle class family so we agreed n my sister took admission but after one semester they cancelled it and gave only 15prc discount even her cgpa was 4.7/5. You cant trust them 100prc they tell some lies they try to earn money moat of the time. In biology , it is so easy to pass exam everything from past papers, teachers dont care you take lectures or not. They dont even bother to change the exam. I dont know bout medicine and dentistry if the sme situation...
Read moreLet me give you an advice. Do not enroll to this university whatsoever. The lecturers are mostly old and can’t speak English well. You won’t be able to understand anything during the seminars. If you are good at self studying that’s another matter. But don’t expect learning anything from the lecturer. The university is careless, they assign people who can’t speak English and have no experience teaching foreign students. Not recommended at all. Plus, Heath service in this city is terrible, if you get sick you will have a hard time getting treated, the hospital in campus will let you wait at least 4-6 hours just to get your blood test result so that they know which doctor they should assign you to. Not to mention that most of the doctors can’t speak English as well. The university once provided us a phone number to call in case there is an emergency health condition, I called that number and once the guy who picked up the phone knew that I was a foreigner he hang up the phone. Everything about this city and university is terrible, if you are going to study in this country then I recommend Budapest or Szeged. You can see how terrible is their English in the Email below....
Read moreApplying to the University of Debrecen was a big step for me, and I honestly don’t know how I would’ve managed it without the incredible support from the Regional Office in Debrecen and Ms. Laiba especially. From the very beginning, they were helpful, responsive, and incredibly kind. They guided me through every part of the application process—explaining the requirements clearly, helping with document preparation, and making sure I never missed a deadline.
What truly made a difference was the extra mile they went by offering preparatory classes. These sessions weren’t just helpful—they were essential. The instructors were knowledgeable and approachable, and the classes gave me a real head start in understanding the academic expectations at the university. It also gave me the chance to build confidence and connect with other students before the semester even started.
Thanks to the Regional Office, I felt supported every step of the way. Their dedication made the transition smoother and helped me start my journey at the University of Debrecen on...
