I don’t think it’s fair to call this a five-star or even a four-star hotel. The beds are incredibly small, more suitable for a child than an adult, and upon entering the room, we were hit with a strong, overwhelming smell. It seemed to be some kind of air freshener, but it was so intense that it became unpleasant and distracting.|We called the front desk about the AC not working in April, only to be told that during this time of year, they don’t run the air conditioning only the heat. This was extremely frustrating, as the room was hot and stuffy, and that overpowering scent made it worse. Despite reaching out to management, we were met with the same scripted response: “AC is not needed because it’s cold outside.”|We tried opening the window, which gave us a bit of relief at first, but since the AC wasn’t working, we had to leave it open all night which led to us freezing and getting barely any sleep.|The breakfast buffet was just okay not much variety or anything to get excited about.|For the rates they’re charging, this hotel really needs to either raise its standards or significantly lower its prices. Be sure to request basic amenities like hair conditioner and other bathroom essentials in advance, as they are not provided by default. Also, keep in mind that the in-room coffee station which typically offers complimentary coffee or tea in the morning comes with a price list here, and everything is charged separately.|Overall a...
Read moreFirst time here, few observations: Check-in took 15 minutes, we had 2 other guests ahead of us. Immediately after checkin, i drove off to the shops and returned 20minutes later. Upon walking into the hotel with the luggage, the bellboy thought he needed to remind me that i had promised to move the car. After i told him that i had actually left and come back again, he admitted he did not realized i had in fact left and returned, but did not apologize for the rude offensive comment. We’re waiting for an hour for our room service order, which consisted of an antipasti platter and a beef stew, neither of which needs to be cooked fresh ie both should be ready in very quick order.
Due to points 1-2-3 above, this hotel is a 5 star in the dreams of its owners perhaps, but the service is truly a disaster so far.
Edit: after checking out and leaving, we had another bellboy chase (yes, literally) after us into the street asking for the “towel cards”. Upon telling him we did not actually ask for any, his reaction was “really? Are you sure?”. Yes man, we are sure!! Seriously, are these bellboys or wannabe mall cops, who are there solely to annoy and...
Read moreThis hotel cannot be considered as 5 stars hotel at all. Some comments: We were unable to go for a massage as it was fully booked for the whole week. The hotel was almost empty so i guess the appointments were not for guests. They should have slots for their guests as this is consider a wellness hotel. When we went to the wellness, the hotel employee was in his own swim shorts, next to the water not in the wellness reception. They give you extra towels for the wellness. However you need to take it from the room.. in other hotel this is provided upon arrival to the spa. There are some commodities in the bathroom like shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. We used one the first day, they did not put another one for next day. The coffee for the breakfast was really bad quality, we needed to have a coffee outside the hotel. The sweets were not home made rather artificial.
To be fair, these are some highlights about the hotel: We had dinner included. We were able to choose from the menu. Portions were big and the quality was good. The size of the bathroom and the...
