Trifla Ivó és Konyha — Restaurant in Egri járás

I must say that the quality of food as well as the attitude of staff is very disappoiting and upsetting. First we received warm aperol spritzes so asked for more ice. When the waitress came back with the ice we aksed for one more straw but she got impatient and verbally indicated her feelings, too, that she had to do one more round. We thought that was sort of fine as she must have been a trainee being so young. Couple of minutes later our food arrived, we ordered soup only. The beef meat soup must have had the leftover meat as the beef was totally fat, hardly cotained meat itself. Also this soup may be ordered in two portions: plate (890 HUF) or pot (2500 HUF). My partner and myself were to share pot as supposed it would be portion for more than one person. However we were told that it would be enough for only one person. So we ordered 1 plate and 1 pot. I tell you, pot would have been way more than enough for both of us. On the top of this, bill received so I had a deeper look into it, literally line by line, this is how I used to do it - I am an accountant - as typo may occur anytime. So the waitress got very upset and rude how impolite I was that I did not believe them and I assumed they were cheating. I honestly believe I have the right as customer to look at the bill as long as I want to and I am convinced that I will pay for items ordered by myself.

I was not going to give any tip for this service but you might not be surprised that services fee automatically included. Afterall I understand how staff dares behave like that with guests.

Trifla was recommended to me on my recent visit to Eger. It is located on a pedestrian street in Old Town. It is a nice location with a number of other restaurants and shops nearby. There is a decent amount of covered, outdoor seating. As well as some seats inside. The waitress spoke limited English. Ordering was not a problem but if you asked questions about the food you could run into issues. The menu has a wide selection to choose from. Although when ordering I soon discovered that they were out of some items. The lemonade was just a bit on the bland side. But maybe one of the other flavors than the default Lemon/Orange I ordered would have been better. I ended up with the steak and mushroom pasta. It was not really what I wanted but I am the one that made the error in order. It was good but there seemed to be very little steak. (English version below) Röviden és tömören, kritikán aluli! Hely első ránézésre barátságos szimpatikus, táblán hirdet minden földi jót és turista csalogatót, gulyás, burger, saláta, csirke stb... Ezekből csirke egy darab sem, gulyás sem szerepelt az étlapon, burgert sem találtunk, saláta ugyan volt de egyetlen egy fajta. Épp hogy helyet foglaltunk jött is egy "pincér" és hozta az étlapot, ami ugyan pozitív volt egészen addig amíg nem láttuk az életundort a pincér csajon. Rendelést felvette, majd 10 perc múlva jött kérdezni, hogy mit is rendeltünk pontosan... Fura volt, de elismételtük, majd egy készül, hamarosan hozom kíséretében búcsúzott tőlünk. Hamarosan = 2 perc, ami egy frissen sült esetében ha nem is probléma de legalábbis elég gyanús. A frissen sült ugyan fűszeres burgonyával szerepelt az étlapon, de mire megkaptuk már csak sima sültkrumpli volt a tálon. A calzone pizzajuk minősíthetetlen volt! az étlapon szereplő mozzarella sajtot sem kívül sem belül nem találtam, cserébe a tészta borzasztó vastag és borzasztó száraz volt. A focaccia nyers volt és feltéthiányos, cserébe viszont raktak rá olyan feltéteket amiket nem kértünk és az étlapon sem szerepelt. Ha pedig ez nem lenne elég, az evőeszközök előre kikészítve az asztalon, ami cserébe hiányos is volt, de legalább miután jeleztük mindenféle grimasz kíséretében kaptunk pluszba.

Konklúzió: A hely nagyon drága és átlagon aluli minőségű. Ár-érték arány borzalmas.
