Beautiful restaurant in the amazing Lilafured. We stopped here to take a rest, have a coffee and a bite. The restaurant serves soups, main dishes and desserts. We had a turkey soup and a snack plate made of toast, dried tomatoes, goat cheese and eggplant paste. The restaurant feels really historic with its stained glass windows depicting the old Hungarian historic castles and its wooden booths and bar. The staff is friendly and quick with a recommendation but, sadly, some of them don't speak English so you might have a bit of trouble ordering. The service was just the worst kind I've ever experienced in Hungary. Everything was pretty much self-serve even though they were three waitresses and the cafe wasn't too busy. No one came to our table for 30 mins, so we had to signal the waitress and she gestured to wait. And yet, she didn't come back. We had to stop her to ask for a menu. Then again, she never returned to our table. We had to walk to the counter to order ourselves. She curtly told us to take a seat and wait.

For that terrible service, they included 15% tip in our bill...

2023.június: hétfőtől szombatig lehetőség van a Lillafüredi Palotaszálló éttermében étkezni 12-16 óráig azoknak is, akik nem ott szállnak meg. Ezt lehetne talán jobban reklámozni és táblákkal segíteni, hogy merre van erre lehetőség a szállón belül! A pincér nagyon segítőkész volt, amikor jeleztem, hogy olyan ételt ajánljon, amiben nincs hús! Igen *különleges *vega ételük is van! Az ételre nem kellett sokat várni. Útitársam sertéshúst választott, ami pont úgy volt elkészítve, ahogy kellett, rizst és valami mustáros szószt rendelt hozzá. A tálalás, kiszolgálás, tisztaság megfelelő volt. Az étlapon az árak korrekten vannak feltüntetve! *A környezet lenyűgöző. Rostos ananász levet kértünk még, jól laktunk, desszertnek már nem is maradt hely. Összesen mindennel együtt kevesebb, mint 11.000 ft-ot fizettünk. Ha arra járunk, mindenképp visszatérünk! *Ajánlom...
