Roxy Cafe — Restaurant in Siófoki járás

We have been here for lunch, the atmosphere was really good and music background was as well, although there were many people, it was so chill and you could really feel its nice. The food was delicious as well. The only problem that we had it was our chuby waiters attitude. He understand that one of us is not speaking Hungarian he continue to speak Hungarian and totally ignored us. He was looking at us and speak Hungarian and we asked do you speak English he said yes and continued is Hungarian. We ordered fish and we specially asked that the catfish is fried? He gave us a look that made me so suprised and said with rolling eyes that yes. But the fish was cooked( although it was really delicious was not the thing we have been informed) I really felt this place is not immigrant friendly and i do not suggest to other immigrants as well. 2021 update: they are clearly understaffed, coul not get my drink and food order for ages. Every customer is smoking at every table, we needed to move tables to be able to tolerate the smoke. It was horrible. I could not finish my chicken, it was dry and salty. My milk shake came in a jar with a tiny plastic straw and a spoon. The plastic straw was too small, the fruit immediately clogged it. I tried to spoon out the fruits from the jar, made a mess and rather left it alone. They could use a bigger straw used for boba, noting that plastic ones cannot be sold any more in Hungary, though they still use it here. Averaging old and new stars to 3.

The food was outstanding at Roxy. As good or better than any Manhattan 5 star restaurant and with portions that are considerably more satisfying. We were impressed by the attention to detail, the range of flavors and the consistency when we back for multiple visits.

The service was at a Michelin star level and we were lucky to have Bri as our waitress each time we went. Bri was able to recommend cocktails and dishes to accommodate all my family member’s unique tastes. The service was always very timely, attentive and personable. Bri was the most pleasant and friendly waitress we had anywhere on our holiday overseas.
