We had very bad experience at this restaurant last evening! The WORSE service ever! We're world travellers and came to a small dinner to remember my 32nd year anniversary to move to Canada, while also owning a house near Siofok. The waiter was very rude, absolutely no smiling, didn't bring wine list, not a welcoming word as we sat down, we felt like unwanted visitors! We thought this person (with big beard also, which is normally not allowed for food servers thorough hygiene issues), so we thought he was the janitor, but eventually came to our table, unfriendly attitude, threw the menu for us and left, for about 20 minutes! We were waiting when he'd return, just to see what happens. When returning, I asked for the WINE LIST, nicely, still. He didn't say a word, turned away and once again, rudely put down the list, with no words, perhaps recommendation for a large selection of Italian wines, didn't ask what wine we would prefer, zero upselling as well! For a Bella Italia, this is almost unheard of!! Should go to Italy for service training! I've lived in Italy and speaking fluent Italian. Spanish, English, and been around the world, but never seen a restaurant where a server won't even ask or suggest wine preferences!! When this server returned, still unfriendly, to my question about a Sicilian wine, if it's dry, he just mumbled " not sweet"(!!) So I asked " so it's DRY?" Yeah, he said. My goodness, what manners for an Italian restaurant! And for the amazing Sicilian wine, not a good word about it! Quickly he took the orders, and left the table, he brought soon all orders, not a word" bon appetit " or anything like normally every restaurant server has the basic manners! We felt during this process to get out of here! As not welcome here! My boyfriend is French, and was absolutely offended as well. During our meal, never came to ask if we need anything, (no salt/pepper on table, would have been great some black peppers), after we finished he took plates without a word and left. came an other person for the payment. Absolutely unbelievable experience, for the expectations of Bella Italia atmosphere! No smiling, friendly , welcoming! No words, no questions. no suggestions, just walked like a robot. Adding insult to injury, you had to wait 30 minutes without any drinks and even encountered dirty glasses—what a rollercoaster of disappointment! I'd say avoiding that place like the plague is definitely sound advice. It seems like they managed to tick off all the boxes for a less-than-stellar dining experience. Time to find another spot that won't leave you hungry, thirsty, or questioning your life choices!

The drinks came fairly quickly, while for the food we had to wait 40 minutes, funnily enough the people who came shortly after us, ordered later, got their food faster, paid and left, and we still didn't get ours. After 40 minutes I asked how long we had to wait, and the waiter said to ask in the kitchen, came back and told me that the chicken was done in about 7 minutes, which means in 7 minutes the food would be there.
