We were okay with waiting 45 minutes for our food, because its a cozy nice place with nice music, but what arrived wasn’t what we ordered. We asked for gyros, and instead were served gyros covered in hot chili, something that isn’t normaly a part of a standard gyros dish. There was nothing about it on the menu either. Someone simply added chili without asking.

Our waitress didn’t seem to understand basic questions in English (like whether the beer was bottled or draft), so maybe she didn’t know how or didn’t want to ask us about the chili. Still, why not serve it on the side and let the customer decide?

We flagged the issue with the server who brought the food. They said they’d check, then disappeared. After another 15–20 minutes with no update and no sign of our original waitress, another staff member finally came over and basically told us to just go with it. When we insisted this wasn’t what we ordered, they refused to replace the meal, said kitchen is closed, and pretty much ended the discussion.

They told us we didn’t have to pay for the food. Sure, thanks, I appreciate that.

A timely apology, even just letting us know that they wouldn't replace the order, would have left a much better impression. Mistakes happen, but this was just bad service.

I am so sorry to leave this review here but I had no choice. The place was rated 4.9 so it was hard not to expect at least something mediocre. I ordered fried cheese, french fries and a salad with tzatziki dressing. I received oil-soaked fries (last time I had one of those was probably in the 90s), 3 supermarket bought cheese-like, breaded items and a bit of lettuce with tomato and cucumber, decorated with some probably store bought sauce that was supposed to remind me the taste of tzatziki. It didn't. The service was decent, I really have no right to say anything else about it but the "food" that I got was definitely not worth paying almost 5k HUF for a handful of oily fries, 3 pieces of supermarket bought fake fried cheese and a small plate of basic salad. I cannot believe how wrong Google...
