Yesterday my family and I decided to visit this place for a meal. And it was the worst experience of going to the place in my life. The order of a burger and 3 potatoes had to wait 40 minutes because the young guys who collected the order were just having fun at work and they did not care about visitors. When I came 20 minutes after placing the order and wanted to clarify when the order would be ready, I did not get an answer, I was simply ignored. But nevertheless, these young people also behaved rudely, they just talked among themselves and laughed at me and at the fact that I was already visibly nervous from this attitude. I asked for a refund and canceled the order, I spoke several times but was ignored again. I went back to my family at the table in bewilderment and just didn't understand what to do. In the end, after another 20 minutes, I went to the cash register and they called my order number at that moment. The order was not assembled properly, missing potatoes and napkins, I said that I had more potatoes in the order and showed the receipt. The guy was angry and disgruntled and I don't understand what the problem with this place is that such people work there. Why did they act like that, insolent and inappropriate? My family and I used to eat at Metro, but after this incomprehensible incident, we will never come...

I visited this place, which replaced the former McDonald’s in Iceland after it shut down in 2009.

The building and fries reminded me of the previous McDonald’s setup. I ordered the equivalent of a quarter pounder large meal with fries and a cheeseburger, and it cost around £30/£40 ($35-$45).

My advice: avoid getting a large meal because the fries are enormous, easily shareable between two people. However, I must admit, these fries were really good, much like the ones I remember from the old McDonald’s.

As for the burgers, they were okay, but they tasted more like something you’d get from a burger van. They didn’t leave a lasting impression and were just average. The buns were also not very remarkable.
