That rainy Monday morning, I had been subjected to inhumane treatment at the hotel and received an unsolicited and oh so wrong sidewalk consultation on my mental health from a not so honorable police officer. I wasn't expecting much at the Cafe Milano. The service was prompt, the dining room was clean and comfortable and the coffee was really good. When I walked to the register for a refill, a gentleman said I did not have to pay for a refill. The presentation of the coffee, milk, water and condiments was tasteful. There were some regulars there and as lunch time approached, they got busier. I was fasting that day so I can't comment on their food. When I was leaving, one female employee grabbed a cleaning bottle and started re-cleaning the glass from the door she had cleaned moments before.
