Food was excellent, but to be fair, we ignored the chicken and pork in the buffet but the lamb and salmon were simply delicious. The salad selection was divine (with the ‘red beet salad’ (with melon) being a stand-out option that was surprisingly tasty!) complete with a nice cheese plate selection. The ‘French influence’ was clear as I assume the chef was trained there. Most deserts were so-so but the crème brûlée was very good. My only nit to pick was the price. US$75 per person was a tad high but the food was wonderful. We were on a stop over from a trip to Paris, and the food was — if anything better than what we had there, but we didn’t spend that much there either so maybe in a ‘high end’ Paris restaurant of comparable cost …. Knock the cost down to US$50-60 and this would rate 5 stars. As it is, it was still very good. Just be ready for the bill!

It's located inside the Reykjavik Natura hotel and offers patio seating during warmer weather. Their breakfast buffet includes Icelandic staples like Skyr, waffles and sourdough and they've a full dining menu including several fish and vegan options. The pricing for these is comparable to restaurants in the city more or less. During my stay, I tried their fish and chips, arctic char fish skillet and shrimp tempura and they were all wonderful. The dinner buffet was much more expensive (roughly 80 USD when I stayed) and I didn't try it out. They also have seasonal brunch and dinner buffet options which looked pretty appetizing.

I thought it was okay overall. We got the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet was about $25 USD per person, and it was pretty decent overall. Food was good, and there were a few Icelandic things. Dinner buffet was quite pricey (over $60 USD per person). It was very good, but you can get a more affordable meal anywhere else in Reykjavik. There were some good food options, including steak that they slice for you, but I don't think it was worth the cost. And there were not really any Icelandic dishes. Overall, breakfast is okay, but we probably wouldn't do the dinner again.

Christmas buffet with my fiancee, the food was bit of disappointment towards the price paid ISK 2x15.400,- plus beverages around ISK 4000,-. Good service though, maybe too fast in clearing the dishes off the table, I was at one time just lifting my cutlery off the starter dish and poof it was gone and I sat behind holding a dirty fork and a knife with nowhere to put them than straight on the table. The entertainment included was pure torture. That man performing was barely seen but clearly heard while murdering every holiday song like a choked goose and did not give any attention to other guest apart from the 3 company groups in the front like he was in a private party with them (I paid for this too). I am definitely not going there again if he is on. And the table was so wobbly that I almost chucked my glass and tableware to the floor by trying to stand up from the table for the buffet and I wasn't even drinking alcohol. Maybe I would have written better...

Went there on 29 .december for Brunch buffet. The food was quite nice , although we were quite surprised that there weren't any juices included, as we are used to that from other places!! But overall nice and Tasty buffet. So on the 4.januar we decided to go there for the dinner buffet, thinking it could only be even better. Of course the price was also higher, but as we were expecting great food, we of course accepted that happily. But NO... although we did order a table 3 days ahead, we were not informed about that the main restaurant was actually closed, and they moved it to a location in the basement. Here the buffet was much smaller, with a lot less on the buffet and absolutely much less quility. We were all very disappointed. Also since we booked the table they had raised the price. Don't think we will be going there again any...
