. Barbecue Nation opened it’s doors to the city of Taj with a Big Bang wherein they had organised a bloggers and media meet to launch its first branch in Ashok Cosmos mall, Sanjay place. . As a we’ll know brand the enthusiasm was next level and the event turned out to be at par with the hype that it created. . Coming to the restaurant #barbequenation is a well established brand in most of the metro cites and need no introduction. As for #agra branch the ambience is quite simple as in all the cities, but still inviting & the outlet in itself is quite huge. . Coming to the food they have a vast variety available for both veg and non veg lovers. The variety of food they serve is quite lavish with more than 10 starters and same amount of Main dishes. They also have a huge layout of Desserts that consists of pastries, brownies, icecream, ,Shahi Tukda, Phirini, Gulab Jamun and many more. We would definitely want them to prepare the food with little more flavours as few of the things were little bland. . The staff is really swift, polite, humble and ready to help. . Some of the highlights of the menu:-
👉BBQ paneer 👉Crispy sweet corn 👉Biryani 👉Dal Makhani 👉 Paneer 👉Variety of salads 👉Variety of pastries 👉 Shai Tukda 👉 Brownie . Our experience at the launch was exemplary to say the least with perfect ambience, near perfect taste of food and courteous staff. . We would like to go back to have some more variety that we couldn’t have at our first visit. . RECOMMEND . Thank you Barbeque Nation for organising such a lovely event.

Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY at BBQ COSMOS Mall, Agra outlet. Terrible experience with almost everything at this BBQ outlet at Cosmos Mall, Agra. We went there with my family at around 8:20 PM on a Monday (on 27th Feb 2023). No one attended us for about 10 minutes. Starters were taking so much time and frequency had big gap in between. Hardly any variety in starters as compared to Delhi NCR BBQ. No Chicken wings included. After about 15-20 minutes of serving starters, they asked if need anything else now. Now come to the main course. The Non veg section of main course was like they had all leftover items and hardly any mutton/chicken pieces were there. Butter chicken tag was there but no butter chicken. Same was with Mutton Rogan Josh. Biryani pot had the similar story as it was empty. There was NO ROTI/NAAN. When complained about it to one of the manager, he said give me some time it is going to be refilled. It took another more than 20 minutes for Biryani to be refilled. Still, there was no Rogan Josh and Roti/Naan. There was no live counter opened at this outlet. Paying almost Rs.800/- per person for leftover and chicken Biryani that too after waiting for so long. Finally, it was Naan which came in and to my surprise it was 1/3 piece of actual Naan as it was being distributed to other tables as well. I felt like they are trying to accommodate with the little quantity food that they had and it was not even too late in night. The question arises not only on their services but also the quality & quantity they are maintaining. I have always had better experience in the past whenever I visited their outlets in Delhi NCR and never went back with a disappointment. This was the first and last time I visited this BBQ Cosmos mall Agra outlet. I WIL NOT recommend this place to anyone. Also, would like to mention one thing. They gave me bill with incorrect contact number of mine when they understood that I am not happy with the services provided. They replace one digit of my contact number and I came to know about this when I reached home and had a look at the bill. Usually customers receive call from BBQ to know about their services after the visit and this could be reason behind this number...
Read moreBuffets for carnivores can be hard to find in a place like India, and it is no surprise that Barbecue Nation has somewhat of a cult following in India, with overseas outlets in Oman and the UAE. I’ll admit I was perplexed by BBQ Nation: it advertises itself to be an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet; however, its barbecue is only served as appetizers, with the main buffet consisting of a somewhat generic (albeit expansive ) smorgasbord of Desi food. After we finished our BBQ appetizers and wandered over to the buffet, we kept looking around for BBQ only to find none.
Granted, it’s my own fault for expecting this to be India’s answer to Brazil and Argentina’s churrascari; this was not the case, as the number of meats at BBQ Nation was limited to shish kebabs of chicken, prawn, and some sort of unspecified fish (i.e., no cuts of beef, pork, lamb, mutton, goat, etc. are available). The restaurant was extremely generous in bringing us unlimited platters of chicken, prawn, and fish, but this sequence inevitably became repetitive and tedious, since these dishes all have the same flavor. You can only eat so many shish kebabs of the same thing before you get bored.
In short, I wouldn’t go to BBQ Nation expecting mind-blowing meat. However, there are some important strengths of this restaurant. The meat is reasonably well-seasoned. Albeit mediocre in taste, the buffet covers a smorgasbord of freshly-cooked popular Indian dishes (i.e., saag, qorma, daal, Hakka noodles, soggy and sponge like Indo-Chinese manchurian ). You can also find all-you-can-eat naan and chaats coming out fresh from the oven, as well as a giant dessert bar (i.e., paan kulfi, halwa, jamun). You are less likely to get food poisoning here than elsewhere in Agra. The kitchen can be viewed through a giant glass window, and it is evident that the restaurant follows stringent sanitation standards. The price (900 INR per person), although a little high for India, is reasonable. You will leave stuffed and ready to tackle the...
