We had one night in Agra after a whirlwind of travel. Thankfully, we happened upon Kiskey Whiskey because we had grown so weary of mediocre road food. Today, we woke up and my husband said, “I wish we could go to Kiskey Whiskey again”. Truly, it is our best dining experience after living in India for 6 months.
When we first arrived, we realized it was a far nicer restaurant than we expected. Our daughter was dressed too casually for the environment but they were gracious and understanding in seating us.
Azharurdin was definitely the highlight of our service experience there. He was incredibly helpful and quite patient with my wheat allergy. I truly appreciated his effort to ensure that I didn’t accidentally consume a meal with wheat, which is really difficult and quite a tedious effort on his part.
For starters, we had nachos, which were fantastic. They were seasoned like actual mexican food, not like an Indian version of mexican food. We tried falafel and hummus (tasted like the falafel we ate in Egypt and Greece), lemongrass coriander soup (outstanding), Singaporean noodles (as good as the version we ate in Sri Lanka), fried chicken momos (again as good as those we’ve eaten in Nepal and China), butter naan, garlic naan, and yellow dal tadka with rice (for the non-wheat eater of the group). Everything was absolutely delightful and the serving team worked overtime to make sure our plates were cleared in time for each new dish.
However, my favorite part of the night was my Gin and Tonic! It is the best G&T I have ever had in my life, but I cannot remember the name! It was purple and infused with flavors like lavender (which I normally detest). The drink is purple and has a flower in it…do NOT forget to try this when you go!
If I had ANY complaints…the music was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. However, after a crazy, screeching, unreasonable customer left…they turned it back down a bit! She was nuts and the staff was doing everything they could to offer reasonable solutions to her problem, but she was not accepting anything except a golden chariot to drive...
Read moreThis is where I choose to spend my first ever night in Agra, and it did not disappoint. To be honest, the name of the place is what drew me to it. Let's start with the decor. Tasteful, without being gaudy. There is a lot of wood that gives it a warm feel, the lighting was not too bright, and neither was it too dark. The chairs were really comfortable too. The service was prompt, and their staff are courteous. They brew their own beer, and I tried the Belgian Wit. I was there during happy hour and was able to avail their buy 2, get 1 free offer. The beer itself surprised me. It was light and crisp with a beautiful aftertaste that didn't linger. (I even woke up without the usual bloated feeling). The accompanying peanuts were dusted with masala that was not spicy, but three flavour was explosive. The only thing I found to be missing was coasters for the glasses. If they get some, it would enhance the experience. Now the food. I had the chowmein and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was not overly oily and tasted amazing. I also had the Murgh Garlic Tikka. One word, "WOW"! They had a live band that started promptly at 9:30pm. Talented artists, all of them. The lead singer was very good, as was the drummer and the guitarists. This place made my first night in Agra memorable! I loved it and will...
Read moreSay a big Hello to the new upbeat party place of the town. Located inside Cosmos Mall this place is the best among the many I have visited lately in Agra. A perfect hangout stop with friends and family with a flawless amalgamation of food, drinks, hookah and one of the best ambience. The lit up bar is sure make you startled.
✴Drinks Trying out their cocktail week, the one I would recommend are as follows : 🔹Fall in Love - vodka based 🔹Trash Can - Red Bull along with rum,gin and vodka.
✴Food The food is a combination of Modern Indian as well as continental. 🔹If you are vegetarian, don't forget to try the Mushroom Baos, Vietnam's Veg Roll and any if their signature pizzas. 🔹For non vegetarians for sure this place is heaven. One of the best Bunny Chao with creamiest chicken is a must try. Chello kebab with Armenian Bread is one of the juiciest mutton in the city. Loving the concept of Pizza Dome Fire and bringing it to the city, but felt the dough was little undercooked. 🔹For the desserts, go for the New York Slice Cheese Cake which is the staple comfort food.
The impeccable service and the best lit up bar will sure make your day. Perfect music combined makes this place a for sure stop for parties...
