Disappointing Experience with Food Order from Folks Restaurant, Agra

Today, I ordered food for a family dining event at my home from Folks Restaurant, situated in Agra. As part of my usual practice, after placing the order, I immediately called the restaurant manager, Mr. Suraj, to personally inform him about the chicken dish I had ordered — specifically mentioning that children would be eating and requesting extra care in preparation.

However, upon delivery, I was shocked to find that the chicken was severely undercooked, making it completely inedible. Concerned about health risks, especially for the children, I promptly contacted Mr. Suraj to inform him about the issue. Unfortunately, his response was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. Instead of showing concern or offering a solution, he casually said, “Theek hai, aage se nahi hoga” (Okay, it won’t happen next time).

When I requested the contact information of his senior or a higher authority to escalate the matter, he arrogantly replied, “Jo ho sakta hai kar lo, kuch bhi nahi hoga” (Do whatever you can, nothing will happen). His attitude gave the impression that ordinary customers are powerless against them, as they seem to rely on their influential contacts and show little concern for the quality of food they serve or basic customer service.

Such an experience raises serious questions about hygiene standards, accountability, and customer respect at Folks Restaurant, Agra. It is highly disappointing that a restaurant, trusted by families, would show such negligence and...

Worst Management.... My Husband personally met Mr. Sanjeev and asked him to book a table for two for 31st Dec for 9.30pm.. I personally called him thrice on 31st dec morning to confirm my booking on which he said yes mam we will manage a table for two, u just come... again in evening i called him to confirm that i will come in between 9pm to 9.30pm on which he replied Ok mam, we will manage... at 9.20pm i called him standing outside folks on which someone (not Mr. Sanjeev) received d call and rudely no no very very rudely replied Mr. Sanjeev is not here we cannot provide u any table and without even listening that we had already booked d table he disconnect d call.... Huh what these people think of us..... Worst worst worst..... Will never wish to visit and c d faces of such...
