I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the grand relaunch of Urban Deck, a rooftop cafe nestled in the heart of Sanjay Place. This charming eatery has always been a favorite, but this time around, they've taken things to a whole new level. With a revamped menu that offers a fusion of global and Indian flavors, I couldn't resist trying a variety of dishes. Here's my take on this culinary adventure:
European Green Eater: The Grilled Italian vegetables with feta and cheddar gratinated on a bed of in-house garlic toast was a flavorful start. The smoky grilled veggies paired with the creamy cheeses and garlic-infused toast created a mouthwatering symphony of tastes.

Tomatoes & Burrata: The freshness of ripe tomatoes meeting creamy burrata cheese was a delightful palate cleanser. This simple yet elegant dish exemplified the beauty of quality ingredients.
Artisanal Pizzas: Urban Deck's artisanal pizzas didn't disappoint. The Margherita was a symphony of simplicity, a classic Italian experience. Meanwhile, the Pizza Alla Vodka, with its fresh tomato sauce and indulgent toppings flambéed with vodka, offered a gourmet twist that left me craving more.
Modern Indian Mains Veg: The Kathal Haleem with Bakarkhani was a hearty and wholesome dish that transformed jackfruit into a delicious home-cooked Haleem. Paired with crispy bakarkhani bread, it was a fusion that worked beautifully. The Dal Bukhara, a regal pairing of slow-cooked black lentils and Indian wild mushroom kulcha, showcased the richness of Indian cuisine.
Cannoli Two Ways: To end the meal on a sweet note, I tried the Cannoli Two Ways. These delicate pastry shells filled with mascarpone cheese offered flavors of Indian Shrikhand and 54% chocolate. It was a sweet finale to a memorable dining experience.

I arranged the first birthday party of my daughter there but seems it was not only wrong choice, it was a worst choice. The way they served the food is very rude, they should learn to speak and serve politely. This was not enough. The so called assistant manager was really unprofessional and rude. We booked it from dine out and confirmed over phone about the booking. But when it comes to the billing time, he refused to accept about the booking. We asked him to check for booking through dine out and after forcing and wasting our time he checked and then he accepted. It was just starting to spoil our mood and party. After this we did our final payment through the same Dineout app and guess what he doesn’t have the number, where he can check about the transaction. As a professional they should keep that mobile with them at restaurant but they don’t. Don’t know where he was calling again and again and saying we didn’t recived it. We were showing them message of transition with bank detail transition but they were saying we didn’t get it and he was asking to transfer the amount again, without showing their phone that they didn’t get it. This was not it, after all this when they spoiled our & our guest mood. When we said them this is really unprofessional and we would not organise any party herein future, the same manager shouted us and said don’t come again there is no need to come, go from here. I don’t know is he unprofessional or illiterate? They don’t know how to speak in front of ladies as well.
This is for sure that we will not visit again there and would suggest you never choose this restaurant for your any party. The staff doesn’t know, how to speak with ladies client as well.
One more special trend we found there, they don’t ask any tip. They add the tip in final bill with the name of service charge of 5%. As they mentioned in the bill it’s optional and we asked him to remove it but they refused. as we already fed up with talking to them we paid them but we decided to share our worst experience with you all, so that they would not cheat you.
