Hastaq Dosa specializes in dosas, and they truly excel in their craft. The dosas are made to perfection, with just the right amount of crispiness and flavor. The menu offers a wide variety of dosa options, from classic favorites like masala dosa to innovative creations with unique fillings. Each dosa is made with fresh ingredients and cooked with precision, resulting in a burst of flavors with every bite.
Apart from dosas, Hastaq Dosa also offers a range of other South Indian delicacies. I had the opportunity to try their idlis, vadas, and uttapams, and they were equally outstanding. The dishes were prepared with care, showcasing the authenticity of South Indian cuisine. The menu also caters to different dietary preferences, with options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
One of the most impressive aspects of Hastaq Dosa is the affordability factor. Despite offering top-notch quality, the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that doesn't compromise on taste or portion sizes while keeping the prices accessible to all. Whether you're a budget traveler or a local resident, Hastaq Dosa provides exceptional...
Read moreWhat can I say!!! We were having our bf, lunch, evening tea/snack, dinner only here during our 10 days of stay in Havelock. Amazing staff and amazing food. Superfast service and super taste in a very reasonable price. We just felt like home food though we don't eat South Indian food at home, but we never felt so. This place just made our stay so comfortable and affordable on Havelock compared to our last visit. We tried most of their menu and its all amazing at a very affordable price. If you don't fancy showy restaurants and are here mainly for Havelock beaches/dives/natural beauty and don't want to shell out a fortune for a simple meal, this place is for you. Must try Omelette Kalakki, fish fry, Egg curry, fish curry, veg thali enough for two people(if sharing thali you can't take extra rice, fair), tea, dosa, crab and what not....

The food is hands down the best South Indian you would get in the entire island. My personal favourites were the vada and roti with egg curry.....both the dishes were authentic, delicious and definitely pocket friendly ❤ Do pay them a visit and I am sure you won't regret coming here.

If you are seeing this then do know that you are cute :") (In case you can't recognize me, I am the daughter of the bengali man who basically ate your head xD). Hahaha I have embarrassed...
