Posting a detailed review for this. First of all, don't go by the photos posted. The place has bad vibes. Food taste okay, quantity less, and fans and a single vintage AC not working at all.

Iftekhar, the owner of this place, also owns a stay called Blue Planet at Long Island. He didn't mention at all that his place was "accidentally burnt down". Though he has built three new rooms, but they lacked basic facilities such as a bed and a table. The mattress was laid on the floor, doors and windows were fitted a day prior, whitewash smell was filled in the room. It is totally fine with under construction rooms, but the owner of the place should have informed us in advance. The Island is small with hardly any facilities and there are not many options available for stay. He shouldn't have taken advantage of this fact. Very average food. Less quantity and taste also is average. But price is like fine dining restaurant. They charge rs. 300 for veg thali which has 2 gravy and very small cup of rice and rotis. Actually very near to it Anju Coco which is far better place was serving it bit cheaper.

On top of that they claimed they won't accept card or UPI or App payment eventhough when I entered someone was fighting and paying. We didnt want to fight and spoil mood and paid cash.

Havelock in general food is costly even in small place and this place goes beyond that.

Better to avoid and only suggest if you really don't want to go to any other place which serves both veg and non-vef and want only...

We visited this restaurant since we are vegetarians. Being the April last week, it was hot enough in the noon and there was no airconditioner or even proper fans! As usual, wait of 20 minutes before the food was served, but it was very difficult. But the food was good enough. Also we visited this restaurant in the evening for a cup of delicious masala tea after returning form Radha Nagar beach.
