A Cozy Culinary Stop with Warm Hospitality and Decent Bites – A Level 8 Reviewer's Take
I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant with my brother, and it turned out to be a pleasant, relaxed dining experience that’s worth sharing in detail. As someone who explores eateries often, I appreciate when a place offers not just food but an overall memorable atmosphere—and this one came pretty close.
Hospitality and Ambiance: From the moment we stepped in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their approach was warm, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. It’s refreshing to encounter service that sets the tone right from the start. Thankfully, there was no waiting time despite us walking in during the early evening hours—a definite plus in a city where queues are often expected.
The ambiance struck a nice balance between cozy and vibrant. The interiors were clean, well-lit, and tastefully done, creating a space that’s equally suitable for casual hangouts or quick family dinners.
What We Ordered:
French Fries: 5/5 ⭐ We started with a classic—French fries—and were pleasantly surprised. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, they were seasoned just right. It’s a simple dish, but when done well, it instantly elevates the experience. I personally enjoyed every bite.
Hong Kong Rice: 3/5 ⭐ For the main course, I chose Hong Kong rice. While it came generously portioned, the flavors didn’t quite stand out for me. It leaned more towards average—edible but not extraordinary. Perhaps a better choice might lie elsewhere on the menu for those seeking bold flavors.
Final Thoughts: All in all, this place is a decent spot if you're looking for a relaxed vibe, courteous service, and light bites to go with it. While not everything was a hit, the overall experience was still enjoyable. I’d recommend it for casual outings, especially if you value good hospitality and a calm dining setting.
I look forward to returning and exploring more from their menu—hopefully to find a few...
Read moreAfter some fantastic dives, we stumbled upon this place, and it was just what we needed to refuel and recharge! I have to rave about their Jhol momos – what a unique and delicious take on the dish! It was almost like a flavourful rasam soup with momos, and it was absolutely perfect after being in the water. It gave me a great energy boost, helped clear up some post-dive congestion, and just left me feeling revitalized.
We also tried their fried rice, which was really well done and had a decent amount of tasty prawns. A solid and satisfying choice! And then there was the pizza! It was kind of their own style, and while they have a wood-fired oven, it had its own distinct character rather than a traditional wood-fired taste. But honestly, it was delicious nonetheless! It was definitely loaded with cheese (which, as everyone knows, is always a good thing in my book!). Overall, this spot was a great find. The Jhol momos are a must-try for a unique and energizing dish, and everything else we had was tasty and satisfying. It's a perfect place to grab a bite after a day of exploring the...
Read moreHad the most amazing breakfast here today! As soon as we got close to the restaurant, it started pouring, so we took shelter, and what a hidden gem we discovered. We ordered the chicken schnitzel and the potato-onion-cheese omelette, along with a hot chocolate and a coffee shake, and everything tasted absolutely heavenly. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection and instantly took me back to the first time I had it in my hometown, Dharamshala.
The staff were incredibly warm and kind. The rain got crazier, so we ended up staying for a good 1-2 hours, and they just kept smiling and chatting with us, making us feel so welcome. We also packed some chicken momos, as they mentioned their Nepali food is probably the best in the area, and judging by the rave reviews, their pizzas are apparently to die for too.
I can’t wait to come back again, not just for everything I already loved, but especially to try the thakali thali and their pizzas next time!
Edit: Tried pizzas, jhol momos and their drinks and everything tasted amazing. Highly highly...
