Golden Spoon restaurant is a small eatery near Symphony Palms beach resort in Havelock Island. At an island where food is pretty expensive, Golden Spoon surprised us with the freshest seafood at a reasonable price. The ambience and decor are pretty basic, but the food is amazing. They also provide free wifi here which is an added advantage because network connection is overall poor in this island.

Now coming to the food, we kept coming back here to eat and tried a lot of dishes off their menu. Would specially recommend grilled fish, lobster, seafood noodles and fried rice, and chilli chicken. The taste totally bowled us over and now we know where to head to if we visit this place again! Portion size is pretty good as well.

Golden spoon, you'll get the best seafood here!!! If you are on havelock island don't waste your time like we did looking for food options. We were here for 15 days put which we spent 10 days dining here. We went to bonovo - highly disappointed, for them thai us Chinese and vice versa. Golden spoon' like us commoners say it's value for money , their preparations are fresh, they know their cuisine well , be it Bengali mustard fish or your local island style butter garlic crab these guys do a brilliant job. You feel well feed . Flavors are the best you can find on the island. We big foodies so we scavenged and how but settled for Golden spoon , cause after a day spent diving ( we were here for our open water scuba diving course) you need nice satisfying meal, and Golden spoon was one place we looked forward to end...
