Tillai Bakery: A classical tale of a Business Empire guided in the wrong Direction.

From being one of the best bakeries in the Islands, Tillai Bakery has taken the route of cost cutting at the expense of food Quality.

Reasons for the negative review: Found Sand particles in their Black Halwa- Complained to them over whatsapp - No response They use copious amounts of essence to stimulate a flavour in their cakes (Fruit Cake and plum cake), theby reducing the palatability of their cakes. The smell of essence fills your noses and their cakes smells of the essence rather than a naturally baked cake.

The reason for the one start review is that they had a premium market on hold that they choose to deliberately ignore in pursuit of profits by reducing quality. It now seems like a roadside bakery would give a better product than Tillai.

We found about Tillai Bakery while looking for the best bakery shop in Port Blair. This shop was listed at rank 2. Unfortunately, we could not visit the no 1 as it was a bit far away so instead we went to Tillai Bakery. One of my friend took me to this bakery on my birthday to do some purchases and the items were so fresh and good. I took few pastries which were super fresh and delicious, sweets, and they have the collection of unique favours of ice creams which were basically not found in random bakeries, and they too have the birthday accessories like candle, snow sprays, hangings, etc. I was so happy with the purchases I made over there.
