I recently visited Adyar Ananda Bhavan (A2B), and it was a wonderful experience both in terms of food and service. A2B is already a well-known name for South Indian vegetarian food, but visiting the outlet in person gave me an even better impression. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a pleasant family-friendly atmosphere.
I tried some of their popular South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, and pongal, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The sambar and chutneys were flavorful, and the quality of the food was excellent. I also noticed that the menu had a wide range, including North Indian dishes, sweets, snacks, and bakery items, which makes it suitable for everyone. Their sweets section is especially impressive—I picked up some mysore pak and badusha, and both were delicious.
The service was quick and efficient. The staff were polite and attentive, making sure the tables were clean and food was served without much delay. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the management handled everything well.
Hygiene is clearly a priority here. The dining hall, wash area, and counters were well maintained, and I felt comfortable eating here with family. Parking was also available nearby, which added to the convenience.
Overall, A2B is a perfect place for anyone who loves authentic vegetarian food with good quality and reasonable prices. It’s not just a restaurant but a trusted brand that consistently delivers taste and cleanliness. I would definitely recommend it for families, travelers, and...
Read moreAdyar Anand Bhavan is an epitome of sheer shrewdness, negligence and recklessness, offered on a full platter. Mind you, even that comes after you wait forever.
First, you are misguided by the cab driver that the food is heavenly. Then you sit on a table unattended for an hour atleast. Then, someone will look at your face as if he or she is doing a huge favour by providing food to your helpless life.
If you are thinking that the hotel is buzzing by this time, you are colossally mistaken. I don't understand the arrogance of the people who serve food here! Is it because they hail from a royal family and they are serving free food on their birthdays or is it biologically impossible for them not to be condescending or feel self-important?
Also, you convince yourself that since they are also located in Sydney, they may offer you similar candor here as well. Boy! Are you heavily mistaken?
Adyar!
You guys may be masters of South and North Indian thalis. But let me tell you that you guys have no clue as to what congregates to customer service. Forget customer satisfaction or delight!
Also, can you pls request the Lady Tamil Superstar Vijay to calm down on her charisma and take it easy! If you are holding forks and spoons at their heads, probably you are better off staying away from waiting tables.
Food is average Ambience is above average Communication is below average Service is garbage!
If you are after good food, You are better off eating in...
Read moreWent to this place searching on Google maps, and it falls just ahead of the padmavati temple. As we enter the security welcomed us with a pleasent smile, realised we were driving down and this was just a halt, gave us a good place for parking. As we enter the staff was very good, the seating arrangement there and the temperature set at the restaurant was perfect. Before ordering we wanted to use the washroom and that was a bit disappointing, the staff was using it (ladies room), and all the customers were in a line waiting for their turn, and when I asked the cleaner to clean the washroom she behaved as if she did not understand what I was saying, I am not against staff using the washroom but the customers who come especially pilgrims like us, expect better hygiene standards and yes I insisted on the washroom getting cleaned and then I used it. The standard of the washroom were top class. Then we get seated ordered food, the staff who was serving was so very nice to us, helping us in choosing the correct menu and yes we had a fantastic food. The only thing disappointing was we ordered pista milk shake and he gave pista icecream blended in a mixer. We were expecting pista milk with some sugar in it and not ice cream. The overall experience was very good, just two little complaints iam sure A2B will easily correct them. Huge thanks to the security guy who was...
