Our visit to Kailash Parbat was a mix of highs and lows, with some good food overshadowed by hygiene and service concerns.
Ambience & Hygiene: The first impression was disappointing—a bug was found on the table, which raised questions about cleanliness. Additionally, no glasses were provided despite us ordering water. The AC was uncomfortably cold, though the staff did respond promptly and turned it off upon request. Another inconvenience was the single small restroom, often occupied, even just for handwashing. No finger bowls were given after the meal—only substandard wet tissues, which felt inadequate.
Service: The service was inconsistent. Some guests were served earlier than others, and our main course took quite a while to arrive. The overall attentiveness from the staff could have been much better.
Food: The food itself had its moments.
Soups: The hot and sour soup was quite good, but the sweet corn soup lacked flavor, and the tomato soup was average.
Appetizers: We really enjoyed the Amritsari Soya Chaap and Paneer Tikka (P3). Unfortunately, the Gobi Manchurian missed the mark—it didn’t taste authentic or satisfying.
Main Course: The Paneer Lababdar, Mixed Veg, and Palak Paneer were all flavorful, though the portion sizes were on the smaller side. The bread basket was well-prepared and complemented the gravies nicely.
Overall: Kailash Parbat has potential, especially in terms of food quality, but needs significant improvement in cleanliness, service efficiency, and basic hospitality standards to offer a better...

We started off with their chaat platter, which is a fantastic value for money. Their Pani Puri and Dahi Puri were also delicious.
For starters, we went with the Paneer Tikka Platter, which had two different types of paneer tikka. We also tried the Jalapeno Cheese Balls, which were good
Then we ordered a Veg Sweet Corn Soup, which was good. They had Roti Basket which lets you try a variety of Indian breads like naan, garlic naan, missi roti etc.. we paired it with their Paneer Makhanwala, which was tasty. We also tried their signature KP Special Biryani and it was okay.
Later, we tried a selection of their drinks and coolers like the Chilly Guava, classic Kala Khatta, a Virgin Mojito and sweet Lassi and Chaas all were good.
Finally, desserts, we tried their Falooda. and it was one of the most authentic and delicious Faloodas we've ever tried in Vijayawada. it's a must-try if you're looking for a real falooda in Vijayawada.

The location is a big let down. Although the surroundings are busy, the restaurant hides itself from the public and positioned in a small street.
This place is well known for chats-Masala Batura, Dahi/Sev Puri, Panner based Starters and Sizzlers. You can visit this place with your family/friends but it can get busier in the weekends.
However, the price you pay for the food items is so high that it makes you feel that the quality does not meet the high price tag.
The staff are well behaved but usually confused. This may be mainly because of the language barriers as most of the staff speak only Hindi.
The parking space is just okay and sufficient given the small dining area of the restaurant.
Thumbs up: Starters, Ambience, Peace, Retro set-up and Quick service.
Thumbs down: Price (~ an average meal costs around 600/- per person), Small dining area, All the Punjabi items and...
