I remember loving Taco Bell when I first visited their Hyderabad outlet — great food, good service, solid vibe. But my trip to the Vijayawada location? A total crash landing. It felt less like a Taco Bell and more like a parody run by kids pretending to be in the food business. No wonder the place was practically deserted.
Let’s start with the food: dry, flavorless, and stingy on the sauces — the very thing that gives Taco Bell its kick. They clearly rationed every drop like it was liquid gold. The guy making the food looked like he was either on the verge of quitting or had already quit emotionally. And it showed — the food had all the enthusiasm of a soggy napkin.
I don’t usually bother with the sachets, but this time I was practically begging for them just to make the food edible. They gave me one Fire Sauce and one Avocado Sauce — for a full-sized burrito and a taco. When I asked for more, they told me it was chargeable. First ₹20 per sachet, then “Oops, sorry, it’s actually ₹5.” Make up your mind. It’s sauce, not caviar. Plus, to make it look like a tip the girl at the sauce counter wanted me to pay for the sachet after I finished eating.
And here’s the kicker: when I asked where the hand wash station was, they told me to go use the one at KFC next door. Yes, seriously. Apparently, Taco Bell Vijayawada thinks outsourcing hygiene to the competition is a reasonable business model.
The cherry on top? The guy at the billing counter looked like he wanted the earth to swallow him when a group of girls walked in — because he had to wear a hairnet. Professionalism? Barely present. Enthusiasm? Absent. Flavor? Lost in action.
Honestly, if Taco Bell India cares at all about brand consistency, they might want to swing by this outlet before it turns into a...
Read moreThe food was great here. They served it hot and fresh but the dine-in here is the worst option to go for.
You cannot get much help from the staff, they'll simply reply "sir you can scan the QR from the respective tables available and order from online, we'll serve you right away". Okay so now I was trying to do what they said, and you know what! the QR they have is on a metal plate which is not at all readable when we tried to scan. Jeez... 😫 ok Now I tried to give the order directly by cash, and for that they replied "they cannot accept cash as they are facing some technical issues". Dude just give me some foooood!
Now with some difficulties I was able to get my order from the QR at last (Damn the prices here are not worth at all) 😔.
And at last about the atmosphere, It's so hot 🥵 there, I think they didn't even turned on the AC there.
Overall, my experience here was dreadful.
I prefer not to go...
Read moreAmazing food, I loved the tacos - both soft and crunchy. The tacos were considerably less spicy than I imagined them to be. We have a choice of sauces that we can choose from to put in the taco and I chose the peri peri sauce, hence it represented a light semblance of a spicy food item. The nachos were amazing too. The wrap that I had was actually slightly tangy but tasted good. The cinnamon twists were my favourite part but I love cinnamon a lot so that's to be expected. The chocodilla that I had actually surprised me, I wasn't expecting much from it but it tasted really good. The service is amazing too. And as it isn't that famous in Vijayawada yet, it isn't that crowded. It will probably get there soon though. The amount of time between the order and the service isn't that long, I mean the wait time is...
