The place is very beautifully set up and is spacious. The lighting and decor are very complementary and suitable. The service can definitely improve but the people were very kind and eager to help. The drinks were fine for the price, blue lagoon was actually good. They can improve on the virgin mojito and shakes. Our mojito was not up to the mark but they promptly replaced it and I was very satisfied with this response. The crispy chilli baby corn and drums of heaven were quite alright. The best part was however the mutton handi biryani. I think I haven’t tasted this good biryani in Jorhat yet. The pieces were juicy and it was a blend of flavours. I totally loved their malai kofta too! These are must try for sure. Will surely visit for the continental dishes next! Great place to throw treats both for family and friends! A Disappointing Experience at Alchemy, Jorhat I recently revisited Alchemy in Jorhat with my wife after a 10-month gap, and unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. Given our busy schedules as working professionals, time management is crucial for us. We arrived at 1:45 PM, and I ordered the starter, which the manager assured would be served within 10 minutes. However, even after waiting for over 40 minutes, neither the starter nor the main course, which we ordered at 2 PM, arrived.

As a result, we had to skip lunch altogether, which was disappointing and inconvenient. If the manager had been transparent about any delays or issues with the kitchen, we would have made alternative arrangements. In the restaurant business, time management, honesty, and customer service are paramount. Transparency and effective communication can go a long way in managing customer expectations and providing a better dining experience.
