Broncco — Restaurant in Assam

Absolutely disappointing experience at Broncco on 22.03.2025 (Saturday). Arrived at 8 PM to find the pub completely empty. The only staff available for the night was one person, who acted as the waiter, bartender, and kitchen helper.

Drinks were served after 25 minutes, and we had to order based on availability rather than choice. The complimentary chickpeas were stale and had to be returned. Meanwhile, the staff member got busy assisting a group setting up an electric guitar, leaving service at a standstill.

We ordered Chicken Mexican Cheesy Fries, but after waiting for 30 minutes, the staff informed us that the kitchen couldn’t prepare them properly. He admitted that the fries tasted bad and asked us to order something else. This was beyond frustrating, but we still gave them another chance by requesting regular French fries. After another 15 minutes, what arrived was undercooked and disappointing.

By then, our weekend dinner date was completely ruined. We paid and left, deeply dissatisfied. With no other customers even at 9:55 PM, I suggested they close for the night to avoid spoiling anyone else’s evening.

As parents, we had arranged for a babysitter to have a peaceful dinner, but the entire night was a waste. Won't be returning, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place unless they seriously improve their service...

Disastrous experience at Broncco on 22.03.2025 (Saturday). My husband and I planned a rare weekend dinner date, leaving our 2-year-old with a babysitter, only to have our night completely wasted.

We arrived at 8 PM to find the place empty, with just one staff member handling everything—waiter, bartender, and kitchen helper. They never mentioned being understaffed when we entered or on their Google listing, which they absolutely should have. If they couldn’t manage, they should have just closed for the night instead of ruining customers’ plans.

Service was painfully slow. Drinks took 25 minutes, and we had to pick from limited options. The complimentary chickpeas smelled stale, so we sent them back. We ordered Chicken Mexican Cheesy Fries, waited 30 minutes, only to be told they couldn’t make them properly. The staff admitted they tasted bad and asked us to order something else. By then, I was done, but my husband tried to salvage the night by requesting plain fries. Those arrived 15 minutes later—undercooked and disappointing.

Only after everything went wrong did they start giving excuses about being short-staffed. By 9:55 PM, still no other customers had arrived, which says a lot. If this is how they operate, they shouldn’t have opened at all that night. A complete waste of time and money. Wouldn’t recommend this...

Ambiance: Mexico themed. Specious area. Private Lounge. Smoking area. Lighting is just perfect. Overall 5/5.

Location: Its on the GS road in-front of KFC. Two wheeler and four wheeler parking is available.

Food: I never found a Pub with such good food. Fryams, malai paneer, tandoori smoke pork, baby corn, American crispy corn - I had with beer and cocktails. All are delicious and very tasty.

Music: You will get all EDM and bollywood tadka here. For Dance also they have some space. Overall best place to chill with your friends.

Service: The best part at the end. Ajay is the best person who can help you with your order. He will suggest you the best food and drinks as per your taste and choice. Bibhas super awesome bar tender. Who prepares some amazing shots and cocktails. Just tell him your preferences, he will serve you some best drinks in Guwahati.
