Read moreI had a very bad experience on 1 January 2025 evening in this store. I ordered the KFC Wednesday Bucket (Rs. 779 before tax) and opted to change the included Pepsi to 7-Up. During the transaction, the staff did not inform me that the Regular size drink was being automatically upgraded to a Medium size. This resulted in an inflated bill of Rs. 857.94 instead of the expected Rs. 817.95 (inclusive of 5% GST).
When I questioned this discrepancy after payment by looking at the bill, I was informed by the staff that Regular size 7-Up was unavailable, and Medium size was provided instead—without prior notification. The staff not only failed to communicate this change but also dismissed my concern by arguing that it was “hardly a matter of Rs. 20” (which was incorrect; the difference was Rs. 40). Such a response was both dismissive and unprofessional.
This incident raises serious questions about transparency and ethics. Customers should always be informed of any changes in their orders that affect the final billing. The lack of communication, coupled with the staff's argumentative demeanor, reflects poorly on the store's customer service standards.
This provides a serious concern to the community: if the store has 100 orders in a day, and plays such tricks to everyone, I assume, they are getting a few thousands from the customer's pocket without actually they know what they paid for. Since I had a very bad experience, I finally, did not take even any of the drinks and also did not take the additional money back which they tried to offer finally to me (as they were not at all apologetic).
I urge the store management and @KFC authorities to:
(1) Investigate this incident to determine whether this was a mistake or a deliberate practice. (2) Ensure that all staff members are trained to clearly communicate any changes to customer orders before billing. (3) Implement measures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

The staff is totally unprofessional. They don't know how to handle orders, nor do they have any knowledge about the products or any service like payments and voucher redeem.
They wrote down a completely wrong order from me and didnot even confirm it. I had to re order what I needed and also I had to pay for the wrong order.
Even after this hassle (wasted almost 1 hr ordering) they gave a wrong delivery of things. I don't know if they deliberately cheated me or it was a mistake on their part. But this is utterly unacceptable service from kfc.
The most important thing I noticed though that there were persons (male and female) roaming in their kitchen area without mask or any hair cap even during the covid-19 pandemic. This is of great concern. There was even no hand sanitiser at the entrance and no stringent measures taken for the pandemic. Very image for a family I would say
I strongly suggest that you avoid this outlet and go for the ulubari or the zoo road tini-ali outlet which provides at least better service than this. I would never like to visit the store again in my life. My impression and confidence on kfc has gone down miles after this incident.
