Domino's Pizza Jorhat — Restaurant in Assam

Consistently poor delivery. Orders are delayed more often than not. Since they aren’t able to improve their delivery services, why can’t they just outsource it to Zomato/ Swiggy. Raising a concern doesn’t make much of a difference as the manager gets all apologetic but the same is repeated after a few days.

Having said that, their pizzas are good. Unfortunately there are no other options in Jorhat.

Update: Replying to reviews is fine, but today I placed an order again, this time time on their own app so that there is no confusion as far as the delivery address or location goes. I promptly got a call from the restaurant saying that the order will be delayed (my residence is only 3km from this restaurant), the reason given was that they are busy.

So now it’s almost 40 minutes since my order was placed, the delivery executive called about 15 minutes back asking me to confirm my location and there is no sign of the order. I could have driven over, picked up the order and come back by now. (Yes, I know, it’s my mistake that I tried their delivery again)

So my take, go pick up your ordered yourself, these guys aren’t changing till they have competition.

Update: Today I tried the drive and pick up! It was even worse. They updated the order status as picked up when the order was no where close to ready.

Worst customer service amongst any Domino’s I have ever seen.

It’s been while that I am in jorhat. There are various issues which could be noticed as a regular customer.

Food quality. The quality of food varies during busy hours, you can see your pizza with reduced toppings and unfilled cheese. Every-time it seems as if the staff is so overburdened with the work.

Pizza Delivery. Every-time it has happened that the restaurant delivers the pizza in the evening after 2 to 2 and half hours. The delivery boy then requests the customers for accepting the pizza and do-not complain about the issue.

Ambience. The restaurant is so noisy and that u do-not feel like dining at the place. The shift manager is normally yelling most of times. There is no music being played. It feels so unpleasant to dine in there. Feels like u are in the road with lot of crowd around.

Hygiene. The place feels so unhygienic at the first place. The dining tables are mostly with trash. None of the cleaning staff is there to address the issue. The manager is mostly unavailable and the rest of the staff is least bothered. The hand wash area and the rest room needs no special explanation. You do-not feel like going for...
