The Greenhouse Cafe — Restaurant in Assam

I hope you take this review as positive criticism and not in any other way. When you guys first opened, I was excited to see a cafe near my home and tried it out, and I referred, other people, whenever they asked me about cafes in this side of the area. My immediate response would be decent food with a good ambiance, you can try it out once for yourself. However, in today's date, my response is bakwas quality food with even worse service. Post pandemic, I visited again, the service deteriorated very much. Nobody came to take our order in the first place and we walked up to the counter to place our order. And even after that, the quality of the cold coffee I ordered was pathetic; and the fries that we ordered never arrived. Upon questioning the waiter, he had no clue that we ordered fries in the first place. I gave you the benefit of the doubt that everyone is going through a tough time and you are also coping with the situation and doing minor budget cuts. But I went there today again, and we ordered one coffee and one strawberry mojito, which we again had to place ourselves at the counter. But let me tell you, that was not a mojito. It was simply 'rasna flavored' normal room temperature water. And that is plain sight robbing customers of their hard-earned money. I believe after paying 150/- you as a customer wouldn't want to be served that pathetic quality of food.

The only reason you're getting decent footfall is that there are not many cafes around in this locality. But if you continue to conduct business this way, I doubt how long you'll sustain. I visited here yesterday, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with a few things that could be improved.

The atmosphere is quite nice — the cafe has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a good interior and soft lighting that sets a relaxed tone ✨. However, the entrance to the building could use some work. It feels a bit cheap and doesn’t give a great first impression when you walk in 🚪. Also, the downward stairs leading to the cafe could be improved to make it feel more polished. These small details make a big difference in the overall experience.

Once inside, everything else was much better! The food was definitely the highlight 🍽️. We ordered a sandwich and two other items, and all of them tasted fantastic 😋. The flavors were spot on, and the quality of the food exceeded expectations.

I’m hopeful that the entrance area can be upgraded to match the overall quality of the cafe. Despite that, I’m still very impressed with the food and the ambiance. I would definitely visit again, and I’m excited to see any future...
