I am glad that competition in this industry is increasing as several new private hospitals have entered Guwahati....you may pay more in these private hospitals but service is 10 times better ! The doctors here maybe renowned/ competent depending on their specialisation but they are extremely money minded. Charges for docs on duty in the evening shift is ₹2100 and you are not even sure if they are gonna come and even if they do they are mostly junior docs who are barely willing to respond to your queries ! 😳 There is no transparency in their billing refusing to give proper break ups in estimates for cost and ambiguous terms and double charging for several things like minor med equipment holter, tests etc in their final invoice. Not a bottle of sanitizer in the entire building!They don't even have proper lancets for measuring blood sugar levels n nurses carry bare needles (posted a photo!)The administration staff(barring a few exceptions) is invisible! ( half the time they are not available) extremely incompetent, inefficient and uncooperative. Total mismanagement making you run from pillar to post and unnecessary harassment. ! My father was admitted in ICU and wrong age was entered. They were adamant in their refusal to give corrected fresh copies of invoice ( ddnt ask for change in bill number or any other mandatory details) inspite of giving written applications and government id proof and after much persistenence manually corrected which was rejected for reimbursement in my office due to too many overwriting. Discharge process took 6 hours inspite of constant follow ups😱 Not an iota of professionalism and they behave as if they are doing a favour by letting you go ! nurses don't even remember to give meds on time nor does anybody answer phone in nursing station. Sorry to say have never met more ignorant and dumb people in my life! The hospital is being renovated and the noise from all the civil work constantly creates disturbance in most of the places including the cath lab and most of the cabins.There is no geyser or ac even in deluxe room charging ₹4500 + taxes and no hot water even in the fixed timings. The linen is torn and worn out most of the time. Food for attendents is pathetic and the other option is a long wait at Jironee restaurant....the list is endless....And inspite of this deplorable n non existent services they charge for services @10 % which is discretionary in nature but they won't negotiate or budge saying it is "mandatory". Affordable hospitals and medicines is getting more and more expensive in India.. if you have better alternatives then please think twice before loosening your purse strings in...

The Renowned downtown private hospital in the South East India, Assam, Guwahati comprise of a good set of promising service providers. It's impossible to name all of them. So, I will write about a few of them who were directly involved in the treatment of my son, Master Ngawang Samdhen renamed later as Chhimi Ngawang Yeshi who had a severe PPHN(06/08/2022-22/08/2022). They were: Dr. Nitin Agarwala My son was referred to Dr. Nitin through Dr. Dhrubajyoti Choudhary by Dr Puroshotam Bhandari of Gelephu and Mr Rinzin, the Liaison officer. There are NO enough words to express my appreciation. Your truly amazing, brilliant, industrious and explorative. Your consultations outside your hospital had given us hours. Your assiduous treatment has saved my son's life. Patient counselling was an exemplary one! Above all, counseling and way-forward were truly unbelievable. Thank you both the doctors for your compassionate attention and treatment. Mr. Sajal (ABDM) and Mr Nikhilish (BDM) I would like to thank both of you for comforting is and making it stay more lively and promising. Mr Sajal was so Frank and helpful. Her doesn't mind responding me when called in his thought schedule. He turned everything possible during our stay there. Your shared wisdom still lingers on my mind. You are also another gem in your hospital. Keep it up! sir. NICU Ward Nurses ( Juliana, Daphi, Carefully, Elisha, I Anisha and Rima). As we came home with excessive happiness, it's impossible to forget your dedicated 24/7 services. This story was successful because of your commitments. My son got motherly treatment and his mother got enough rest as she was referred along with him after one week of delivery.. Especially, nurses Julianna and Daphi have taken will care of attendant's psychology. Thank you for your continuous, dedicated and committed treatment. All of you were born to be NURSES. Ambulance driver and Security personal All of them were frank and helpful. They did their job well. Thank you for your help. As we stepped out of your hospital with broad smiles on our gloomy faces, our heart was filled with appreciation and gratitude, we thanked you beyond earth and sky. We will remain grateful to your dedicated and committed services and we shall recommend your services to our fellow Bhutanese. Stay blessed!
