The Jolly Angler is a welcome watering hole in the largely 'dry' landscape of Uzan Bazar. It's stylish and classy interiors, excellent service and top class food is worth experiencing! There is also a proper stage for live performances and adequate space that has been well planned, unlike most of the other cramped places in Guwahati which play live music. The food menu is extensive and innovative and there is no compromise on quality. Pork lovers should try the 'pork popcorn' which is a great snack. They also have a good assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The pitcher is a good idea and reminded me of Bangalore pubs, however they don't have draught beer. On most evenings it's a lively place with a good young crowd and nostalgic classic rock. My kind of place 🙂
