Bira 91 The Brewery Ludhiana — Restaurant in Barewal

The ambience is just normal, cramped up spaces with very loud music with zero acoustics.This is not a brewery, I would rather say that this is a family dhaba.If you wanna chill and have beer than rather go to a actual beer place cuz you would find kids jumping from the podium,grandparents getting bored and yawning and add to it some people even carrying toddlers with milk bottles, and when ask about this to the staff that why are the kids allowed in the brewery.They could,nt answer, maybe due to recovering their heavy rents and expenses, they are allowing every body. The beer is just average normal(you cud get better beer in bottle) and mind it guys do ask them before starting to chug your beer that if they have enough cuz we have to left in the middle cuz they ran out of beer we were drinking. Although the food is really good. To add to more bitterness, the service really really sucks, although they charge a heavy mandatory service charges. Loved the Passionate Hospitality of the staff... The Bira Beer was Luke warm, Fresh out of the 'TAP'!! The Glass was see Through like any freshly cleaned vase!!! Not Frosted as a Bira Beer Mug is expected to be. "Weather is to be blamed my dear Sir, too hot.. My shift started late so the rest was sultry, My Bad" What moved me was the apparent dried salted tears in the servers eyes.....

Even though Bira 91 spoilt my evening exploring fresh (supposedly less that 20 day old beer) microbreweries in my home town of Ludhiana with the Service and Company policy sharade...... All that is seen on the menu is not available, Unfortunately no disclaimers on the front gate..... I would still recommend that you try it once and there always is a Theka Sharab Desi aur Angrezi around the next corner serving a chilled, forsted can of almost manufactured Thunderbolt.
