Rue 18 — Restaurant in Punjab

Visited this place on 1 Jan 2023 after reading rave reviews on google and their insta posts, the cafe is situated on a quaint place off the ferozpur road. A well decorated cozy cafe with old world british interiors.

We ordered Sphagatti with prawns and requested Aglio Olio only to recv a blandly prepared Sphagatti with pesto sauce thrown in and half cooked prawns, the cappuccino served was almost like a latte and cold, we ordered two pizzas only to recv them with half baked bases and raw tomatoes. I think the chef was in a bad mood on this day and didn't want to entertain any guests. The only saving grace was the caramel custard. I am glad we didn't opt for your package deal of 1500 per head and 3000 inclusive of liquor. Disaappointed, bad taste can never make up with good interiors. Please give this...

New cafe alert. So I just explored this newly opened cafe 'Rue18' at pakhowal road, Ludhiana. And the only thing i would like to say is try out this place yourself & i bet you'll love it too cause they've something unique in terms of food & a subtle ambiance to offer. So i ordered the following- Lasagne (veg.) : Highly recommended Cafe frappe : I customised it according to my taste & i liked it, better than some of the coffee places i've been. -Frocaccia sandwich (non veg.) : It was just flawless in terms of taste. Must try. And i'm not much of a dessert person. But, if you have a sweet tooth, then their freshly baked bakery stuff is surely worth a shot.

P.s. I feel the place is budget friendly, the rates of the food items are still better than some of the over-priced places providing...

I am so proud of you Gurleen for taking this step in your life and opening up this amazing cafe! The cafe has a cozy atmosphere, great music, and delicious food. The menu offers a wide range of dishes from breakfast options to lunch and dinner. The coffee is also amazing.
